In a shocking incident, a dead body of a girl student was reportedly found from a pond at a farmhouse in Nandankanan area of Bhubaneswar on Friday (Aug 20).
As per reports, on Friday night, the girl student from Nayagarh had allegedly left her house in a distraught state. She was allegedly upset over failing to do well in her Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam. Sources said that the CCTV footage from the spot revealed the girl entering the farmhouse at around 2 AM last night.
While the police are suspecting it to be a case of suicide, the girl's father, who is a professor, has refuted the same. Meanwhile police have launched a probe into the matter.
