Meet Sriyank Padhy - this wonder kid from Odisha's Jeypore. His incredible memory power and extensive knowledge of the currencies, folk dances, state capitals and other general topics has helped him find a mention in the national and international records.
Sriyank has recently secured a place in the ‘Asia Book of Records’ for accurately naming the currencies of 157 different countries apart from classifying the folk dances, that too, in a record time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Along with Asia Books, little Sriyank has also bagged the ‘India Book of Records’ & ‘Magic Book of Records’.
Sriyank’s mother says that she had much interest in general knowledge earlier and during the Covid pandemic, she got extra time to teach Sriyank all the extensive knowledge that she has gained. She says that Sriyank's inclination towards learning new things encouraged her to boost her child's knowledge, which finally helped him achieve this feat.
Sriyank is currently studying in Class II, and aspires to become a doctor in future, for which he has his family’s full support. His family, relatives and school teachers feel proud of little Sriyank’s achievements at such a young age and hope to see him grow and achieve better things in the future as well.
