Actor turned MP Anubhav Mohanty landed in soup for reportedly posting an incorrect picture on social media. On Tuesday (Aug 10), the MP from Kendrapara had made a Twitter post on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Raghunath Panigrahi. Mohanty in his tweet had offered ‘his humble tribute to the legendary Odissi Music Guru, Vocalist, Composer, Music Director, Padmashree Pandit Raghunath Panigrahi on his birth anniversary’
The MP had praised the late Music Maestro and stated that the dexterity with diction and languages and the ease of phonetics in them made Panigrahi unique. However, in place of late Pandit Raghunath Panigrahi’s picture, the MP posted the picture of renowned flutist Hariprasad Chaurasia. After the post triggered an outrage, the MP was quick to delete the post from his social media account. However, no comments have been received from Mohanty on the matter.
