Warner Bros on Wednesday stunned fans as it released the title for the upcoming edition of the Matrix franchise ‘The Matrix: Resurrection.’

According to reports (ANI News), Warner Bros has also unveiled some fascinating clips from its upcoming movie at its CinemaCon presentation. The report claimed that the opening scene of the trailer starts with Keanu Reeves in character Neo. Neo is speaking to his therapist about some dreams which are not just dreams, indicating that Neo has no memory of the ‘Matrix.’

Interestingly, the trailer even shows Neo coming in contact with Trinity, played by Carrie Anne Moss. However, both do not recognise each other. The trailer also features a character reminiscent of Morpheus who gives Neo a red pill. The trailer has some hints of the older chapters with a portrayal of a version of Neo from the trilogy. There are some action scenes showing Neo showcasing some new powers and even trying to stop a missile.

The fourth Matrix franchise film directed by Lana Wachowski is slated for release on December 22 in theatres and HBO Max.
