The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) 2021 was conducted today in different centres in 334 cities across the country and abroad. The exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode will be also held on August 27, 31 and on September 1 and 2, 2021.

About 7 Lakh students appeared for the exam, including 1 Lakh from Odisha for the JEE Main 2021 Session 4 exam, while strictly adhering to Covid-19 protocols. It is pertinent to mention that after declaring the JEE Main result, the NTA would release the all India rank list of the candidates.

Meanwhile, only the best score of a candidate, who has appeared in multiple exams, will be considered for ranking list. After that, the JEE Advanced exam which is the qualifying test for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), will be conducted on October 3 for students who qualify the JEE Mains.
