ISRO's (Indian Space Research Organisation) second mission of the year received a setback on Thursday. The mission was to launch an earth observation satellite EOS-3 into the intended orbit.

The launch of GSLV-F10 carrying EOS-3 satellite took place on Thursday at 5:43 AM as scheduled from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The performance of first and second stages was normal.

However, Cryogenic Upper Stage ignition did not happen due to technical anomaly. The mission couldn't be accomplished as intended, ISRO said.
