Liquor will be made available at doorsteps during the 14-day state-wide lockdown in Odisha. Odisha government on Thursday gave its nod to the earlier proposal regarding home delivery of liquor. Permission had been sought as all non-essential shops including liquor outlets have been kept shut during the lockdown. As per the permission, the Odisha government has delegated the decision of introducing home delivery of liquor to the collectors. Respective district collectors will be taking a decision regarding home delivery taking into consideration the prevailing situation. According to the new directions, all the guidelines issued last year regarding home delivery of liquor will be followed while introducing this service during lockdown.
