While reviewing the match with Belgium in Tokyo Olympics semi final, Dilip Tirkey said that as Captain Manpreet Singh had a green card, the team lacked a player in defence and it proved costly. On Tuesday, India lost 2-5 to Belgium in its first semi-final at the Olympics in almost five decades. With its win Belgium entered the Olympic final for the second consecutive time.
