Eminent Odia Music Director Santiraj Khosla Succumbs To #Covid19

The Odia music industry loses another gem. Eminent music director Santiraj Khosla (50) succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at Cuttack Covid Hospital today (May 27). The news was shared by his family members.

Khosla was admitted to the Covid Hospital at SCB Medical College and Hospital, few days back after his condition worsened following Covid infection. Also a noted lyricist, Santiraj Khosla was regarded as one of the best music composers and top guitarists in Odia Film industry.

In 2019, Santiraj was awarded with the State Film Award as ‘Best Music Director’ for the film ‘Feriaa..Comeback’. Santiraj is also credited to having some notable musical hits under his belt such as ‘Mali Phula Tin Tinta’ and ‘Mate Anidela Lakhye Phaguna’.
