Twin City Commissionerate Police seized huge quantities of brown sugar from Cuttack on Monday. As per reports, police seized 1.159 kg brown sugar from Cuttack and arrested 6 persons in connection with the matter. According to police sources, the six persons arrested by the Commissionerate Police have criminal antecedents. The police also informed that at least 4.280 Kg brown sugar has been seized from Cuttack in the past 5 months.
The Police Commissionerate also informed in a press meet that more than 6 kg brown sugar has been seized from the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in past 5 months.
