The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently released a circular pertaining to the conduct of Class 9th and 11th exams by the board. In the circular, the Controller of CBSE, Sanyam Bhardwaj, warned everyone to be wary of fake news and clarified that the board will not prepare the question papers of Classes 9 and 11.

Refuting the rumours, the board said that "'it has come to the notice that CBSE will provide Classes IX and XI Question Papers for conduct of examinations in all its schools. In this regard, it is clarified that it is fake news and there is no such plan on the agenda of the CBSE.

” The circular further reiterated that students and parents should ‘not believe in any such information which is circulating on social media and not available on the Board's website.’ The board firmly informed that it issues all information on its website first and hence only the information from CBSE's website is authentic.

Meanwhile, taking to twitter, the government’s fact checking agency, PIB fact check also alerted against a WhatsApp message claiming that ‘the question paper of class 9th and 11th final examinations will be prepared by the CBSE is in circulation.

PIB, in the tweet, mentioned that the claim is fake and CBSE has made no announcement, urging everyone to refrain from forwarding such false messages.

It is pertinent to mention that in its last circular, the board had informed regarding the changes in next year's board examination, but had not mentioned anything regarding the final exams for Classes 9th and 11th.
