With concerns growing over online classes in Odisha, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Tuesday (June 23) informed that the state government has decided to reduce the syllabus of Class 9th and 10th this year too.

Taking cue from last year when the syllabus was reduced by 30 per cent for Class 9th and 10th, Dash said that the same would be implemented for this year’s academic session as well. The Minister acknowledged the fact that even though the classes are functional online, not all students have access.

In this regard, Samir Dash clarified that the state government is extending all efforts to reach as many students as possible.
