More and more details continue to surface in the sensational murder case of married woman Priyanka Priyadarshini at Bhimatangi in Bhubaneswar. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Umashankar Das on Tuesday (July 6) revealed that the accused had planned to kill the victim’s son ahead of her before committing suicide. The DCP said that a hand-written note recovered from the crime scene revealed accused Jagannath’s original plan. Das also informed that a special investigation team reached Jajpur to question Priyanka & Jagannath’s family and acquaintances to gather more details in the case.
Earlier on Tuesday, accused Jagannath’s mother had revealed that the accused and victim Priyanka had known each other from before and were in a relationship. She revealed that after Priyanka’s marriage, they cut all following which Jagannath had moved to Bengaluru. However, after a while, Priyanka had started calling Jagannath repeatedly in an attempt to re-establish contact with him.
