Bhubaneswar Railways Station To ‘Become World Class Soon’!

Bhubaneswar Railway Station will get ‘World Class’ facilities and the work for the same is slated to begin soon. This information was given by the General Manager (GM) of East Coast Railway, Vidya Bhushan on Friday (July 23).

This information came after the GM conducted an inspection of the station with senior officials and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) to take stock of the available facilities. Bhushan informed that East Coast Railways had signed an MoU with the state government which detailed plans of converting the existing station of the capital city into a ‘World Class’ station.

He also informed that the project report, plan and design of construction work at the station have been approved and a tender will be floated soon by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) after the final project report receives approval.
