Bhubaneswar Attack: Miscreant Who Attacked Woman Over Possible Robbery Bid Nabbed

Two days after a woman was attacked by an unidentified miscreant in broad daylight in the capital city of Bhubaneshwar, Police have managed to nab the accused. He is currently under police custody.

Special Squad of the Commissionerate Police and the Nayapalli Police took the accused into custody on Wednesday for further interrogation. On Monday, the miscreant had attacked the woman out on morning walk in Nayapalli VIP Colony area, reportedly to snatch valuables from her.

The entire incident was captured in a CCTV camera installed in the vicinity of the crime scene. According to the police, the sharp object with which the woman was attacked has been seized and further investigation is underway.
