Akshay Kumar on his 54th birthday penned an emotional note for his mother on Thursday. Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday (September 8), just a day before the actor’s birthday.
In an Instagram post, Akshay shared a picture of him and his mother who is seen planting a kiss on her son's cheek. In the post the actor also wrote "life goes on". Akshay Kumar in the post said that he was sure his mother is singing Happy Birthday to him from right up there! By the time of the filing of this report, the post by Akshay Kumar had garnered over 1.4 million likes on Instagram. Earlier on Wednesday, Akshay took to the social media platform to express his grief on his mother’s demise. In the post he wrote that his mother was his core and that he felt an unbearable pain at the very core of his existence. Akshya Kumar also wrote that his mother passed away peacefully on Wednesday.
