The decision regarding reopening will be taken only after reviewing the situation before June 17. This was informed by Odisha Public Health Director Niranjan Mishra on Friday (June 11). Mishra stated that even though the cases are reducing, the decision to unlock the state will be taken only after reviewing the situation after the Raja festival.

Meanwhile, the chief of the Directorate of Medical Education & Training, CBK Mohanty emphasized that reopening is a necessity for all and the restrictions can’t be stretched for long in Odisha.
