A day after reporting the lowest cases since April 8, India saw a slight uptrend in Covid infections and deaths. As many as 1.32 lakh fresh cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 3207 persons succumbed to the deadly infection, pushing the death toll to 3,35,102.
India witnesses a SLIGHT UPTREND in daily Coronavirus infections. The country recorded 1,32,788 NEW INFECTIONS in the last 24 hours. India's overall tally of COVID-19 cases has reached 2,83,07,832. ACTIVE CASELOAD in country stood at 17,93,645 after today’s surge. 3,207 FATALITIES were reported in the last 24 hours.
Total 3,35,102 persons have SUCCUMBED to the virus in the country. So far, 2,61,79,085 Covid patients have been DISCHARGED in the country. As on today, 21,85,46,667 people have been VACCINATED in the country.
