In a major declining trend, India on Sunday witnessed the lowest spike of daily coronavirus cases since April 6, as the country saw 1.14 new cases in the last 24 hours. As many as 2,677 people succumbed to the virus during the period, pushing the death toll to nearly 3.5 lakh. India sees LOWEST SPIKE of daily coronavirus infections in 59 days.
The country logged 1,14,460 NEW INFECTIONS in the last 24 hours. India's overall tally of COVID-19 cases has reached 2,88,09,339. ACTIVE CASELOAD in country stood at 14,77,799 after today’s surge. India witnessed 2,677 COVID-19 FATALITIES in last 24 hours.
Total 3,46,759 persons have SUCCUMBED to the virus in the country. So far, 2,69,84,781 Covid patients have been DISCHARGED/CURED in the country. As on today, India has VACCINATED 23,13,22,417 persons.
