In a shocking turn of events, Tamil superstar Vijay has moved the court against his parents. Yes! You heard that right!

The Tamil superstar recently moved a court in Chennai and filed a lawsuit against 11 people, including his father SA Chandrasekar and his mother Shoba.

According to a national media (India.com), the issue began when the actor's father Chandrasekar announced that his son is interested in politics and even took steps to register a party in Vijay's name.

The actor's father made his mother Shobha the treasurer of the party while his relative Padmanabhan was named the party President.

After that, Joseph Vijay, popularly known as Thalapathy Vijay filed lawsuit against 11 people to restrain them from using his name. As per the lawsuit, Vijay has said that he did not grant permission to anyone to start any party.

In a statement, Vijay clarified that no one is allowed to use his name to organise public meetings and gatherings. The case is likely to be heard on September 27.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay recently completed shoot for his upcoming film -'Beast'. He was last seen in the Tamil action-drama Master, which grossed over Rs 200 crore at the box office.
