Television's highest rated serial 'Anupamaa' has offered several twists and turns to the audience in the recent episodes. From changing arcs to introduction of new characters, fans have seen it all but they seem to love it.
However, the recent addition of Anuj Kapadia's character played by actor Gaurav Khanna on screen has taken the expectations of fans to a whole new level and the actor reveals why! Gaurav, who plays the role of the super-successful business tycoon 'Anuj Kapadia' in the tele serial says that "the show has quashed many age-old beliefs and that's why it is the number one show because it has held on to the pulse of the viewers."
Revealing the reason behind Anuj's popularity, Gaurav says that the character is "the mouthpiece of the audience, like what the audience would think or they would want to do in a certain situation is what 'Anuj' technically does or ends up doing eventually.
" Gaurav further elaborates that in the show Anuj's thoughts are exactly opposite to that of Anupamaa's ex-husband Vanraj's character. "Anuj not only wants Anupamaa to succeed because she was his college crush but he also takes a stand for what's right.
With his belief and opinions, the makers have yet again set an example", explains Gaurav. 'Anupamaa' which airs on Star Plus, showcases the journey of a woman separated from her husband and the hassles she encounters on path to independence and an individual identity.
