A piece of exciting news for all the fans of Tollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, as the actress added a unique project to her worklist.
Samantha is all set to make her international film debut with her next project, in which she will be portraying a bisexual character. Yes, you heard it right!
The popular south Indian actress signed her next project with none other than Downton Abbey-fame director Philip John.
The actress will soon work with the director in a feature film titled 'Arrangements Of Love.' In the movie, Samantha will play the role of a bisexual character, who runs her own detective agency.
Samantha made the announcement on her official Instagram account by sharing a photo with the Downtown Abbey director. Sharing the photo, Samantha wrote, the last time she went for an audition was 12 years ago for the film 'Ye Maya Chesave'. And after 12 years she still felt the very same nervousness.
The actress also thanked the BAFTA award-winning director for selecting her for the movie.
According to Variety, ‘Arrangements of Love’ is an adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same title by Indian author Timeri N. Murari. In the movie, Samantha will be playing a character of a progressive bisexual Tamil woman who wants her to have an arranged marriage.
The film is expected to commence shooting next year in August.
