Salman Khan fans can now look forward to something exciting as the actor recently made a big announcement at the RRR event in Mumbai in presence of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, and Karan Johar. On Sunday (December 19), Bhaijaan Salman Khan finally confirmed a sequel to his massively popular 2015 film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
Yes, you heard that right!
The film helmed by director Kabir Khan and starring Harshali Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is considered one of the finest films of Salman’s career. As per reports, Salman confirmed that the script of the sequel has already been written by none other than SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad.
During the RRR event, Salman Khan made the surprising revelation while talking about how SS Rajamouli’s father gave him one of the best films of his career. Speaking on the same, director Karan Johar asked the actor if he was officially announcing a sequel of the film to which Salman responded in the affirmative.
It is to be noted that Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected over Rs 300 crore at the box office in India, and till date, is among the top 5 grossers in Bollywood.
