The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finalized the new OMR-sheet system to be implemented during the Term 1 MCQ papers for Class 10 and 12 Board exams. The exams which will commence from November 16 will be conducted within 90-minutes and will have maximum 60 questions. The OMR sheet which has to be compulsorily filled using a pen will have an additional box for the students to use, in case they like to change their answer and also indicate the questions they choose to skip. Another major update by the Board is that it will evaluate all the OMR sheets on the same day as the exam. Meanwhile, the results of the same also have to be uploaded or handed over to the regional office that same day. It is to be noted that a record 36 lakh students of Class 10 and 12 will be taking the Board exams this year.
