Omicron Threat: Top Odisha Health Official On Testing & Surveillance

Amidst the threat of ‘Omicron’ variant of Covid-19 in the state, the Odisha Health Services Director, Bijay Mohapatra on Thursday (Dec 23) informed about the steps taken by the state government to tackle the spread.

Mohapatra informed that the number of daily Covid tests conducted in the state will be increased while District Collectors would keep travelers under their jurisdiction under strict surveillance radar.
