Finally, Covaxin Approved For Children In 2-18 Yrs Age Group, DCGI Gives Nod

The Drugs and Comptroller General of India (DCGI) has given a go-ahead to Bharat Biotech's Covaxin for vaccination of children in the 2-18 years age group. Subject Expert Committee (SEC) has given a recommendation to DCGI for the use of Covaxin for children. With this, Covaxin has become the first vaccine in India to be approved for the children.
