The lifespan of the Chandrayaan-3 mission will be 14 days. If we look at it in terms of lunar days, it will have a lifespan of one lunar day.

615 crore rupees have been spent on the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Its budget is even lower than 'Adipurush', which is said to be the most expensive film in India. Chandrayaan-3 has 3 parts, a 1726 kg lander, 26 kg rover and 2148 kg propulsion module. The function of the propulsion module is to change the trajectory of the lander and the rover and take the spacecraft from the earth and place it in a fixed orbit. The lander will then land the spacecraft on the surface of the moon and the rover will come out and explore the lunar surface.
History will be made in few hours time when India launches Chandrayan-3 from her soil. The Indian Space Research Organisation will launch the iconic mission to moon from Sriharikota at 2.30 PM.
