Remains Of Ancient Temple Unearthed In Bhubaneswar

During an excavation drive carried out by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) remains of an ancient temple was unearthed near̥ Suka-Sari Temple in Bhubaneswar today. During the excavation a base made of ancient stones which are believed to be the remains of an ancient temple was unearthed in the vicinity of Suka-Sari Temples near the 11th century Lingaraj shrine. The ASI unearthed the structure while the area was being cleared as a part of the Ekamra Kshetra heritage project for beautification of Lingaraj temple and its surroundings.
