Odisha BJP MLA Threatens Self-Immolation Over ‘Mandi Mismanagement’

“I will commit suicide if their (farmers') problems are not solved immediately”. This is what BJP MLA from Deogarh, Subash Chandra Panigrahi said during proceedings of the House on Friday. The MLA threatened to immolate himself in the Odisha Assembly over alleged delay in paddy procurement process at various mandis across the State.
