Travel influencer Anunay Sood passes away at 32; cause of death unknown

In a shocking incident, popular Dubai-based social media travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood passed away at the age of 32. His family announced the news in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday morning. However, the cause of his death has not been made public yet.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing,” the family wrote, requesting privacy and urging followers to avoid gathering near their residence. They appealed for understanding and respect during this difficult time, adding, “May his soul rest in peace.”

An obituary for Sood was also listed on Giddens Memorial Chapel in Las Vegas, indicating he was in the city shortly before his death.

What we know so far? 

His recent Instagram posts showed him attending The Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, a luxury automotive showcase featuring rare and classic cars. His last post on November 4 read: “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines. Which one would you take for a spin?”

Just a day earlier, Sood had uploaded a YouTube video titled: “Exploring the Hidden Side of Switzerland | Places Tourists Never Visit.”

A celebrated name in digital media, Sood was featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years 2022, 2023, and 2024. With over 1.4 million Instagram followers and 3.8 lakh YouTube subscribers, he inspired millions with his travel storytelling across 46 countries.

As of now, Las Vegas police have not issued any statement regarding the cause of death.
