Odisha Health Dept Urges WB Returnees To Come Forward For Testing
On the heals of a spurt in Covid-19 positive cases in the districts of Jajpur, Balasore and Bhadrak, Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department urged all the people who had returned from Coronavirus affected states like West Bengal during lockdown to come forward and get themselves tested.
The Department said, as almost 80% of the positive patients are asymptomatic, it is pertinent for them to come forward voluntarily to restrict the spread of the virus. Moreover, the testing and subsequent treatment, if found positive, is free of cost.
People who came from affected states recently might have been infected; they may not know it as about 80 percent of positive cases do not have any symptoms. Hence, such people must come forward for testing to protect themselves and their families: #Odisha H&FW Dept#Covid19India pic.twitter.com/IUQJWO5wp4
