Need To Extend Lockdown By A Month
There is a need to extend COVID-19 lockdown by a month and health ministers of other States have also raised the issue, during the discussion between PM Modi & Chief Ministers of all States today, said Odisha Health Minister Naba Das. Though any formal announcement has not been made by Centre or CMO, Das said the State has requested Centre to conduct COVID-19 tests and issue certificates to people stranded due to lockdown in other States before they are allowed to move back to their respective destinations. A clear cut policy regarding transportation of such stranded migrants is likely to come up by April 30, he added.
