First COVID-19 Death In Odisha
The first COVID-19 death case In Odisha has been reported from Bhubaneswar. The deceased, a 72-year-old male belonging to Jharpada, was reportedly admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on April 4 following complaint of respiratory distress. “He expired on 6th April. He was tested positive for COVID-19. His contact tracing and containment is ongoing,” informed State Health and Family Welfare Department.
