Waiting for your iPhone SE? You can get it from April 8

Gurgaon: If you are waiting for the cheaper, smaller yet powerful iPhone SE, you won't have to wait for too long as Beetel Teletech Limited, a Brightstar company, announced it will make available the latest Apple offering with a four-inch display, beginning April 8.

"Pre orders open on March 29 at 12:01am,” a company statement said.

The phone will be available at over 3,500 retail locations across India, the statement said.

Regarded as the cheapest iphone model so far, the phone comes in two variants - 64 GB and 16 GB.

The smartphone is a mix between the iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 generations of devices with size and design of iPhone 5S and the specs and capabilities of the iPhone 6S.

Apple said the iPhone SE "the most powerful 4-inch smartphone ever".
