Recently, a video went viral on social media platform X, shared by the user "Idiots Caught In Camera."
It captured a bizarre incident in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, where a man, under the influence of alcohol, narrowly escaped death after being hit by a truck while sitting on a chair in the middle of the road.
The video shows the man seated on the chair in the middle of the road, seemingly oblivious to the dangers around him.
As a truck approaches, it collides with the chair, and the man is thrown to the ground. Miraculously, he survives the encounter, lying on the road while looking at the truck.
The person recording the video can be heard telling the truck driver, "Jao jao, tum jao" (Go, go, you go).
This incident highlights the dangers of impaired judgment due to alcohol and the risks associated with reckless behaviour.
The video quickly gained attention on social media, with many users commenting on it. One user wrote, "Terrible accident but survived," while another said, "Touched? Near death experience."
A third netizen commented, "Why is he sitting on a chair in the middle of the road, especially on a rainy night?" while another wrote, "Wrong place to sit... I think no one instructed him."
