As per earlier reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will be essaying the role of Lord Ram and Devi Sita in the cinematic adaptation of the Indian Epic. Moreover, KFI's Rocking Star Yash will play Demon King Ravana's role and Sunny Deol will portray Lord Hanuman's character. Speculations are also rife that Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Harman Baweja, and Arun Govil will play Surpanakha, Kaikeyi, Vibhisana and King Dasarath's characters respectively. Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that TV actor Ravi Dubey will be seen as Lakshman in the magnum opus.
Now, the recent buzz is that the makers have locked another popular TV actress to essay the role of Mandodari.
If the recent reports are anything to go by, actress Sakshi Tanwar is set to join the cast of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.
According to a report by Filmi Beat, Tanwar, known for her role in Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, has bagged the role in the much-awaited project. The reports also suggest that Tanwar has been participating in script-reading sessions with the cast. However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims of the 51-year-old actress bagging the role.
Furthermore, it is also speculated that actress Indir Krishna has been locked to play Ranbir's onscreen mother in Ramayana. Recently, Krishna shared a sneak peek of her meeting with RK, which fueled the speculation that Krishna will be portraying Queen Kaushalya's character.
Recently, RK was spotted with an archery coach and is reportedly undergoing training for his role in Ramayana. The picture was shared on X (formerly Twitter) in which the Animal actor can be posing with the archery coach, while some arrows kept on a table are visible. Meanwhile, another picture of RK also surfaced on social media in which he is seen performing a headstand at the gym.
As per earlier reports, Ranbir is extensively preparing to essay Lord Ram's character. However, the movie has been in the pre-production stage for a long time and has witnessed delays given the scale of its production and the casting. Hopefully, the makers will soon make an official announcement regarding the movie and end all speculations.
Well, Yash recently posted a video on social media that has reignited the excitement among all for KGF: Chapter 3.
On Wednesday, Yash shared a video on social media in which he can be seen reprising his iconic Rocky Bhai character. While, the visuals are blurry, Yash can be seen sitting on a chair. As it seems, Rocky Bhai is addressing a press conference.
While several media persons can be seen at the conference, one of them eagerly addressed Yash.
Meanwhile, another media person while interacting with a colleague says, "Questions, questions, questions..."
The next shot in the video shows Yash tapping his shoes together to cover his face.
Yash can be heard saying, "Follow me."
He captioned the video, "Surprised by a question I can't avoid. Stay tuned for something truly powerful!" (sic)
For the unversed, there was a similar scene in KGF: Chapter 2, where Rocky Bhai says, "Violence, violence, violence..."
Well, Yash's recent post has reignited the excitement among all who are eagerly waiting for Yash's KGF: Chapter 3.
Though the makers of KGF franchise have confirmed the third instalment, there are no recent updates yet. Even reports were abuzz that Prashanth Neel will begin KGF 3 after he wraps up Prabhas-starrer Salaar. Moreover, some reports also claimed that Yash may not be a part of KGF 3.
With KGF franchise, Yash went on to become globally recognised as Rocky Bhai. Fans certainly can't imagine KGF series without Rocky Bhai.
However, the latest post from Yash has filled hopes among all and it is evident from the comments section.
One user wrote, "I think KGF CHAPTER 3." (sic)
Another wrote, "BOSS is back." (sic)
"King is coming soon," wrote a third user. (sic)
However, the latest post on social media by Yash seems to be an advertisement. Though it is disheartening for many, the makers might soon make an announcement soon.
If the earlier reports are anything to go by, KGF: Chapter 3 will go on floors by 2025.
Despite his busy schedule, Yash manages to spend quality time with his two little children and wife-actress Radhika Pandit. He ensures that he maintains a healthy balance between his work and family life.
Recently, Yash took some break from work and spent quality time with his family. Taking to her Instagram handle, Radhika shared a few pictures from her trip. However, one picture has caught the attention of fans wherein Yash can be seen posing for pictures with Radhika while their daughter is the photographer.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Radhika wrote, “My new personal photographer ❤️🧿” Dressed in a blue t-shirt and white pant, Yash looked dashing as always in the picture. Fans flooded the post with thousands of comments and over 600K likes.
“The Ayra adoring her parents has my whole freaking heart😭♥️,” commented a fan.
Another fan wrote, “Coz @thenameisyash BOSS is busy in shooting #TOXICTheMovie , AYRA took his job seriously.🤩 Are u okay with her clicks @iamradhikapandit ma'am & we wanna see her clicks, can u please share them🤌🏻😍.”

Talking about Toxic, the makers of the film are reportedly in talks with the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor and Shruti Haasan for pivotal roles. However, no official confirmation has been received so far..
However, the producers of ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups,’ KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, have urged fans to refrain from spreading rumours about the casting. They confirm that the casting is almost finished and express excitement about the ensemble.
In a joint statement, the production companies address the circulating speculation, emphasizing the need to wait for official announcements.
The joint statement read, “There are many unsubstantiated theories and information doing rounds about the casting of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. We truly appreciate the excitement around Toxic, but at this point, we would request everyone to refrain from speculation. The casting process for the film is near completion, and we are thrilled with the team we have onboard. As we gear up to bring this story to life, we request everyone to wait for the official announcements.”
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ is set for a theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
The film marks Yash’s 19th project. Yash unveiled the title earlier and shared a teaser featuring his character, alongside anti-heroes like Joker from DC Comics. The teaser hints at Yash's appearance in the movie, showing him with a pot belly, a retro hat, and a machine gun, with the film's title displayed.
As per a report in Times of India, Shruti has come on board for Yash-starrer Toxic and will be seen in a pivotal role.
ETimes quoted a close source to the development as saying, "Shruti Haasan will be playing a vital role in the film."
Well, if the reports are anything to go by, Shruti will be sharing screen space with Yash for the first time. The reports must have skyrocketed the expectations among fans.
Shruti was last seen as the lady lead in Prabhas-starrer Salaar. The movie went on to script several new records.
On the other hand, as per earlier reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan will reportedly make her Kannada debut with Toxic.
During a recent interaction, Bebo teased her fans about her first foray into a 'very big south film'. Though the Laal Singh Chaddha actress remained tight-lipped about the project, it is speculated that Bebi was talking about Yash's Toxic.
Of course, Kareena is quite excited about her first project in the South.
On the work front, Kareena is all set for her upcoming Crew, also starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The movie will hit the big screens on 29 March.
Meanwhile, though it is yet to be officially confirmed, Yash will be essaying the role of Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh and Lara Dutta, among others. While the shooting has already begun, the makers will be making an official announcement soon.
“Now, like I said, I might be doing a very big South film. Now it’s like, all pan-India so I don’t know where I’ll be shooting, but I’m excited for all my fans to know that it’s going to be the first time that I will be doing this,” Kareena said during a fan interaction.
The reports of Kareena finally making her Kannada debut, that too opposite Yash have left her fans drooling for their on-screen chemistry. Fans are already super excited and cannot wait to see the ‘Bebo’ romance Yash on the big screen.
So I think Kareena's film with Yash is confirmed! She said this on a zoom meeting with her fans yesterday.

Apart from Toxic, Kareena is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘The Crew’. She also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’.
Her latest film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan was a box office failure, but she impressed the critics with her performance in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Jaane Jaan’, a Netflix original.
Coming back to Toxic, it will be Yash’s 19th film. Produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the film is being directed by national award winning director Geethu Mohandas.
His charisma, style, body language, and most importantly his simplicity and down-to-earth nature make him everyone’s favourite. With back-to-back blockbusters, fans are eagerly waiting for him to roar at the box office again.
He is currently shooting for another pan-India film titled ‘Toxic’ that is scheduled for release in 2025. Meanwhile, the dashing actor was spotted in a new look and fans are going crazy. Video of him sporting a turban has taken over social media with fans speculating it to be Yash’s look from ‘Toxic’.
Recently, Yash attended a wedding function with his wife Radhika Pandit. Sporting his signature beard and long hair, he looked dashing as always as he made an entry into the wedding venue with his wife.
However, he is seen wearing a turban on his head that caught everyone’s attention. Dressed in a suit, he holds his wife’s hand as they walk to the wedding venue, surrounded by bodyguards.
Fans are speculating the turban looks to be from his upcoming movie ‘Toxic’. However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard.
Apart from Toxic, Yash will also be seen as Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated film ‘Ramayan’, also starring the handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
If reports are to be believed, Yash is expected to receive a whopping amount of Rs 150 crore for the project, making him the highest-paid villain in the history of cinema in India.
“He is charging Rs 100 crore to Rs 150 crore for the film, with Rs 100 crore being the minimum, and the higher limit depends on the number of days he is supposed to shoot and give to the schedules,” a source close to Yash was quoted by HT.
Kannada actor Yash became a household name after the monstrous box office success of KGF Chapters 1 and 2. Fondly dubbed as Rocking Star, KGF's Rocky Bhai is among the highest-paid actors in the Kannada Film Industry (KFI). While Yash has always played the protagonist in his movies, KGF portrayed him as the 'Biggest Criminal,' though he played the lead role.
If the circulating reports are to be believed, Yash will be portraying the character of Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Fans have pinned high hopes on Tiwari's Ramayana and its ensemble cast after Prabhas' Adipurush turned out to be a disaster. Even, Saif Ali Khan, seen as Lankesh in the movie, got immensely trolled for Adipurush.
Undoubtedly, Demon King Ravana is regarded as the biggest-ever villain. And with Ramayana, Yash has become the most expensive villain of Indian cinema by reportedly charging a whooping amount of Rs 150 crore as his fee.
If the latest reports are anything to go by, Yash has dethroned Sanjay Dutt, Kamal Hassan, Vijay Sethupathi, Emraan Hashmi and Saif Ali Khan. Reportedly, Kamal Hassan is being paid Rs 25 crore for playing the antagonist in Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD. Vijay Sethupathi also reportedly charged Rs 21 crore for Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. On the other hand, Saif was paid Rs 10 crore for Adipurush, Emraan Hashmi for Rs 10 crore for Tiger 3 and Sanjay Dutt charged Rs 8-9 crore for KGF: Chapter 2. As per the reports, Yash is being paid Rs 150 crore for Ramayana. However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims.
Gone are those days when lead protagonists were paid the highest remuneration. With the changing trends, antagonists play an equally important role and at times even steal the limelight from the heroes. The villains have started charging equally high fees as the protagonists. Even actors playing protagonists are keen to play negative roles.
Earlier, reports surfaced that Nitesh Tiwari and his Team will go on floors this month (March). Shooting for the first instalment of the planned trilogy will commence soon with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash. However, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman will be seen in a cameo role. Even Yash will have a limited screen presence. But, Yash and Sunny Deol will have major roles in the second and third part of Ramayana.
While speculations are rife that Vijay Sethupathi and Amitabh Bachchan might be seen in pivotal roles, the makers are yet to raise the curtains. As per earlier reports, the first part of the planned trilogy of the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic will go on the floors in March. The makers have planned to kickstart shooting this month and will wrap up between July, before moving to the post-production phase with a target for releasing it in Diwali 2025.
However, fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement from the makers. But, it seems, the makers will soon end all speculations and make the official announcement regarding the cast and all other things.
According to a recent report in Pinkvilla, the makers will officially announce the making of the epic tale. If the reports are anything to go by, Nitesh Tiwari and the team will make the official announcement of Ramayana on Ram Navami this year in April. A close source was quoted as saying, "Ramayana will be announced on April 17, 2024, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami."
Further, the source added that the makers are going ahead with a planned move to bring out their official communication on the birth anniversary of Lord Ram.
"There is no better date than Ram Navami to make an official announcement on Ramayana's cast, crew, and release plans. It's the most ambitious film of Indian cinema and the team is making all efforts to bring it to the spectacle in the most authentic manner," he added.
The close source concluded saying, "The team has spent over 5 years in pre-production work to get the script and visuals in place. And now, it's time to execute all that was planned."
Earlier reports claimed that the lead actors underwent multiple look tests, pre-visualisation, and tech rehearsals in Mumbai and LA. If everything goes as per plans, Ramayana will be released during the Diwali 2025 weekend. However, the movie being VFX-heavy, the makers are being double sure before committing anything. As claimed, the movie will be the most technically advanced feature film of Indian cinema. A dedicated team of 500 VFX artists will exclusively work on Ramayana for 500 days, starting in July.
Presently shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Toxic’, the handsome hunk ensured that he spent quality time with his family on his free day.
He took his wife and actress Radhika Pandit and two children on a farm holiday. The dashing actor, who is shooting for director Geetu Mohandas’ film ‘Toxic’, had a day off from work and decided to spend some quality time with his family.
The gorgeous beauty took to her Instagram handle to share some adorable pictures from their family holiday, which are now going viral on social media.
Also joined them were Ayra and Yatharv’s grandparents. In one of the pictures, Yash can be seen helping Ayra and Yatharv feed a calf with a milk bottle. In another photo, the two little kids can be seen enjoying with their grandparents.
In the caption, Radhika wrote, “On a bonus day like today, when ever time defies the usual, take the leap to do something extraordinary you’ve always dreamt of. Extra day, extra blessing. Let’s make it count. #radhikapandit #nimmaRP (sic).”
A few days back, Yash known for his down-to-earth nature was seen buying candies for his wife Radhika Pandit from a local store. The viral picture shows Yash buying ice candy jar while his wife is seen sitting near the local grocery store.
Fans are well aware that Yash is a family man and loves spending time with his wife and children. Radhika often shares pictures from their vacation, puja ceremony and family get together.
On the work front, after the stupendous success of KGF Chapter 1 and 2, Yash has collaborated with national-award winning director Geetu Mohandas for ‘Toxic’. The film went on floors in December 2023 and will hit the theatres on April 10, 2025.
However, it would be surprising to see such a big actor at any local store for purchasing something. Isn't it?
Recently, Yash was spotted at a local store in a Karnataka village. He was with his wife Radhika Pandit and kids Ayra and Yatharv.
KGF's Rocky Bhai with his family visited Chitrapur Math Temple in Shirali, Karnataka. However, while he was purchasing ice candy from a grocery store, he was clicked by someone. Radhika was also captured on the camera. In one photo, while Yash can be seen standing close to the store, Radhika can be seen sitting near the store. In the second photo, Yash can be seen holding the ice candy jar and drawing out some candies. In the other two photos, he is seen walking towards the store.

Now, the photos have gone viral on social media and fans can't get over the simplicity of the celebrity couple.
Fans are well aware that Yash is a family man and loves spending time with his family. Radhika Pandit and Yash give a glimpse of their family time to everyone through their social media posts. Be it a vacation or a pooja ceremony, the family observes everything together and loves to share the moments with their fans.
Yash was last seen in KGF Chapter 2 and fans are eagerly waiting for his next. Recently, his next project titled 'Toxic' was announced which filled excitement among all. Even, reports are abuzz that Yash will be portraying the character of Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol among others in pivotal roles. However, no official statement has been released by the makers yet. Meanwhile, fans are anxiously waiting for updates on KGF Chapter 3 as well.
Fans are well aware that Jai Hanuman, the second instalment of the superhero cinematic franchise, will be focused on Lord Hanuman. While Teja Sajja played the role of Hanumanth in the first instalment, he might reprise his role in the second instalment. However, the movie will be centered around Lord Hanuman.
Meanwhile, several reports surfaced regarding the star cast in the second instalment. While some reports claimed that the makers are planning to rope in Megastar Chiranjeevi as Lord Hanuman and Mahesh Babu as Lord Ram, other reports claimed that Rocking star Yash was the first choice of Varma and talks are on for the same.
However, a recent exclusive report in India Today claims that Yash is 'not considering' to play the once-in-a-lifetime role in the superhero franchise.
As per the report, the circulating reports claiming that Yash will be playing Lord Hanuman in the sequel, are false and baseless.
A reliable source, close to the development was quoted as saying, "There is no truth to the reports, he is not considering any such role. Rocking Star Yash puts a lot of time and consideration into each film he chooses to do, and right now he is completely consumed with 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups'."
Well, this development comes at a time when reports are circulating about Yash playing Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.
Fans are certainly anxious about Yash's upcoming projects which include Toxic and KGF Chapter 3. Hopefully, fans will get the official update regarding Yash's involvement in Jai Hanuman and Ramayana soon.
While earlier reports were abuzz that the makers are planning to rope in Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi as Lord Hanuman and Mahesh Babu as Lord Ram, recent reports claim that the makers are planning to rope in KGF fame Yash as Lord Hanuman in the sequel.
Moreover, earlier, media reports claimed that Yash was the first choice of Varma for Lord Hanuman. But, later the team opted for an animated figure of Lord Hanuman. Even, several fans also noticed that Lord Hanuman's eyes in the movie had a resemblance to Chiranjeevi.
But, it seems all previous claims and speculations were false.
According to the latest report in Bollywood Hungama, a close source to Prasanth Varma revealed that Yash is the first choice of the makers for Lord Hanuman. However, the earlier reports of being considered for essaying the role of Lord Hanuman were baseless.
Bollywood Hungama quoted the close source as saying, "There is some confusion in the Mumbai press over the casting of Bajrangbali Hanuman. Lord Hanuman will be a prominent part of the sequel. And yes, Yash is a very strong contender for the part. However, he was never considered for the first film. This is a false narrative flying around in the Mumbai media. But he is most likely to play Lord Hanuman in the sequel. As Teja Sajja played Hanumanth in HanuMan he will reprise his role in the sequel Jai Hanuman. Teja Sajja is not playing Lord Hanuman. He will reprise his role as Hanumanth, Hanumanji's bhakt."
Well, this development is certainly startling for movie lovers. On one side, Yash will be reportedly essaying the role of Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Sunny Deol. On the other side, if the reports are anything to go by, Yash will be seen as Lord Hanuman in Varma's Jai Hanuman. However, fans need to wait for an official announcement for both developments.
While fans are eyeing updates of the magnum opus, a recent report reveals about the looks of RK as Lord Ram.
As per a recent exclusive report by India Today, Ranbir underwent a look test for Lord Ram.
The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, that a photoshoot was held with Ranbir Kapoor to finalise his look as Lord Ram. While the makers are significantly preparing for other characters in Ramayana, including Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol, the primary focus is on Ranbir.
Further, the source revealed that Ranbir will not be putting up any extra weight or gaining extra muscles to play his role as director Nitesh Tiwari wants him to be in his natural lean look. Briefing about the photoshoot, the source added that Ranbir's bare-bodied look with golden and gem-studded ornaments has impressed everyone, who has seen the photos.
As per the source, the makers are very keen to keep the looks of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi simple without heavy jewellery and costumes.
Undoubtedly, Nitesh Tiwari won't leave any stone unturned for his ambitious project. Following the response of the audience for Prabhas-starrer Adipurush, Tiwari must be extra cautious as Ramayana is connected to the sentiments of every Hindu.
Earlier, reports were abuzz that makers are in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for Vibhishana, Lara Dutta for Queen Kayikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh for Suparnakha and Amitabh Bachchan for King Dasharath. However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims. Fans need to wait for an official announcement about the same from the makers.
As per the earlier reports, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol have come on board and the makers are in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for essaying the role of Vibhishana. Reports are also abuzz that Lara Dutta will be seen as Queen Kaikeyi, third wife of King Dasaratha. Now, speculations are rife that Rakul Preet Singh is in talks with the makers and is likely to join the magnum opus. If the reports are anything to go by, Rakul is being considered to play the role of Demon King Ravana’s sister Shurpanakha.
On Saturday, Pinkvilla reported that Tiwari is discussing the project with Rakul. The report quoted a close source as saying, “Rakul and Nitesh Tiwari have been in talks for a while now and the casting is now in place for Shurpanakha. It’s one of the most important characters of Ramayana, as Shurpanakha is the one who is responsible for the rivalry of Lord Ram and Ravana.”
Further, the source added, “Rakul is excited to step into the world of this epic and the paperwork will happen soon. The actress is considering this associate with the evergreen tale of Ramayana as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
While an official confirmation is awaited regarding the casting, a recent report in Bollywood Hungama confirmed the principal cast of Ramayana is locked. As per the report, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are set to essay the role of Lord Ram and Devi Sita in the Indian epic’s cinematic version. On the other hand, Sunny Deol will be seen as Lord Hanuman and Yash will portray the character of Demon King Ravana.
While the preparations have already begun for the movie, the team is all set to go on floors in March 2024 to kick-start shooting for the first instalment of the planned trilogy.
Importantly, most of these movies received pan-India success which was not expected. On the other hand, big Bollywood movies of superstars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan failed to lure the audience. That is when a debate that the South Indian film industry will soon take over Bollywood and that Southern movies are much better than Hindi cinema gained momentum.
Even celebrities from Bollywood appreciated how the South Indian movies are rooted in their culture whereas B-town flicks are more inclined towards showing Western culture. So when an interview session was held with Yash by a leading Bollywood media portal in Bengaluru in front of the audience it was expected that the Sandalwood superstar would share his views.
He said that one KGF will not be able to change people’s outlook towards Kannada film industry. That is why he said that Kantara is my film. He named many other Kannada movies that have been very good and should gain National recognition. Yash said, “There was a time when 7 players from Kannada were in the Indian cricket team. That should happen to the Indian industry. Every actor and director from my industry should become a pan India star.”
Yash credited Rajamouli for directing Baahubali and making it a pan-India superhit. The superstar said, “We should try to stop hypocrisy. A lot of people try to polarize the industry saying our industry, this industry. No, it will never happen like that. We should not get into this trap. We should respect every other person who is doing a great film. Every other industry. Go compete. Just not be jealous and say we are good.”
The superstar added, “I expect from my fans, especially from Karnataka, I don’t want them to put any other industry down. I do not want to say we are bigger and they are smaller. We worked hard to get that respect. After that, we cannot mistreat them. Respect Bollywood, forget North and South. Don’t do that.”
Yash said that Bollywood is going through a phase and they have taught us a lot. According to him, the aim should be to compete with the rest of the world. Instead, he said that this generation should compete with the rest of the world and say, “India has arrived.”
The recent buzz in the industry is that Ranbir will undergo voice and diction training. A report in India Today claims that the filmmaker is ensuring that everyone is doing their homework before they go on the floors. Further, the report states that the Chhichhore director has formed a dedicated team for the diction and dialogue aspects of Ramayana.
Apart from that, the filmmaker is giving high attention to the costumes and the appearance of the pivotal characters in the movie.
The report states that a close source to the development disclosed that the filmmaker has assigned Ranbir to work with a diction expert to ensure that the dialogue delivery of his character aligns with the flick's vision.
Indeed, it is a lifetime opportunity for Ranbir to be a part of the Indian epic and essay Lord Ram's role. To embody the character of Lord Ram, RK has dedicated hours to reading dialogues and sending the videos to the helmer for feedback.
The source also revealed that the production scale of the movie is colossal, with special effects and VFX meeting international standards.
Further, the report claims that Ranbir's voice carries a distinct baritone and a characteristic delivery style. All such efforts are being made so that the audience can easily identify RK's dialogue from his voice even when their eyes are closed.
Ranbir has proven himself as a versatile actor portraying different challenging roles in various movies of different genres. Nitesh Tiwari intends to ensure that his character portrayal in Ramayana stands apart from his previous roles and Ranbir, reportedly, is enjoying the new challenge which will help him to explore new dimensions in his acting journey.
According to earlier reports, while Ranbir will be seen as Lord Ram in the magnum opus, Sai Pallavi is set to play the character of Devi Sita. On the other hand, reports claim that Sunny Deol will essay the character of Lord Hanuman, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as Vibhishan in the first part of the planned trilogy. However, recently a report in Firstpost claimed that Janhvi Kapoor will replace Sai Pallavi in the Indian mythological saga. While it is claimed that the makers picked her as she is well-suited for the role, there is no official statement backing the claims.
The purpose of this training is to create proper articulation, vocal tone, pitch, pace, and resonance, which includes the practical application of breathing, relaxation, and tongue and lip placement. The method of this training focuses on how these elements pertain to voice and diction. The final goal of this course is to instill in the awareness of the patterns and styles of speech that are acceptable.
Moreover, there is a strong buzz that the makers are in advanced talks with Vijay Sethupathi and Lara Dutta for playing prominent roles in the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic.
Earlier, reports claimed that Ranbir will kick off shooting from March and an additional schedule has been planned for April and May this year. Further, the reports claimed that Yash might join the team in July.
Now, it seems, the makers are all set to go on the floors.
According to the latest report by Times of India, Ranbir will be going on the floors soon and the shooting of the movie will extensively take place in Mumbai. A source stated that the Brahmastra actor will be shooting for 60 days in Mumbai followed by a schedule in London. Further, the Lanka portion of the movie will be shot in London for approximately 60 days. KGF fame Yash will join the team in London on this schedule.
While a report in Pinkvilla claimed that Sunny Deol has been roped in to play the role of Lord Hanuman, he will join the team in May this year. However, in the first part of the planned trilogy, Sunny will have a guest appearance.
A close source to the development was quoted as saying, “While Ramayana: Part One features Sunny Deol in a guest appearance, the second and third part of the epic trilogy will have his complete presence. The makers are confident that after Dara Singh, it is Sunny Deol who would be synonymous with Lord Hanuman in modern times.”
Undeniably, Nitesh Tiwari’s dream project Ramayana is one of the highly anticipated movies. Movie lovers have pinned high hopes on the makers after getting disheartened with Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. It is speculated that the mythological drama with an ensemble star cast and a talented director would be a cinematic spectacle.
Now, all eyes are on updates of Jai Hanuman, the 2nd instalment of Prasanth Varma’s cinematic universe. Even excitement has elevated among movie lovers for other projects included under Varma’s first superhero cinematic universe.
The credit for the phenomenal box office run of HanuMan is also shared with VFX veteran Udaikrishna Pandamaneti, who played a pivotal role in the seamless integration of live-action and animation in the movie. Indeed, apart from the story plot, acting, and presentation, the superlative VFX in the movie keeps the audience hooked.
But, did you know that there was a possibility of seeing Rocking Star Yash as Lord Hanuman in the movie?
During an interview with Rediff, Pandamaneti talked about the VFX achievements and said, “We had to seamlessly integrate the Hanuman statue with live-action footage in a complex digital environment.”
The VFX veteran, who has worked in Raees, Zero, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and Rudhramadevi, recalled the incident when Prasanth Varma approached him in 2021.
Pandamaneti was quoted as saying, “The superhero movie was announced in May 2021and they wanted to start with a mind-boggling teaser. Despite the shoe-string budget, I took up the teaser as a challenge to use a showreel. The teaser was launched with Prabhas’s Adipurush. While that didn’t live up to sky-high expectations, ours was a blockbuster!”
Further, he mentioned that they desired to push the envelope as far as VFX in cinema goes. Be it the underwater scene or the Hanuman statue looming large, the VFX team achieved their vision with a mix of two software used in Hollywood by adopting state-of-the-art existing technologies.
Undeniably, the giant size statue of Lord Hanuman is the talk of the town. But, Varma was quite sceptical about going with an animated character at first as God was being shown in live action on such a large scale.
Pandamaneti said, “He was toying with the idea of signing KGF star Yash to play Hanuman and incorporate a live-action portrayal. But, I convinced him to let us design a 3D model, assuring Prasanth that it would not appear cartoonish. Our animated Hanuman took us almost seven to eight months to complete, with enhancements going on till the last minute.”
It will be the second movie of Yash in Hindi after signing for the role of Ravana for the upcoming movie Ramayana helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. The flick already has a stellar star cast with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol playing the important characters of Ram, Sita, and Hanuman respectively.
As per Hindustan Times, both of the stars are eager to work together and have been in discussion for some time. However, they are waiting for the right script because the expectations of the fans from this duo will be naturally very high.
Currently, Yash is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Toxic. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next ventures but is expected to make the announcements soon. Last year King Khan delivered 3 mega blockbusters Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki but failed to get Filmfare Awards 2024. It has enraged his fans a bit but for SRK who has won multiple awards at almost all the award functions getting a National Award should be the next big thing.
Despite working in Bollywood for more than three decades and giving huge super hit movies Shah Rukh Khan has not yet received a National Award in the Best Actor category which is mostly the dream accomplishment for any Indian actor. His performance in Dunki was critically acclaimed and hopefully, he will get at least nominated for the same at the National Awards 2024.
However, now it seems the curtains have been raised. As per the latest reports by PinkVilla, Sunny Deol is confirmed to play Lord Hanuman's character on the big screen in the planned trilogy based on Indian epic Ramayan.
PinkVilla quoted a close source to the development as saying, "Sunny Deol is all charged up to have gotten once in a lifetime opportunity to play Lord Hanuman. It's a casting made in heaven, as Lord Hanuman stands for strength, who better than Sunny Deol in the present time to play the part with utmost conviction."
Further, briefing about the Gadar actor's shooting schedule, the source revealed that Sunny will start shooting for his part in Ramayan: Part One in May 2024.
"While Ramayan: Part One will feature Sunny Deol in a guest appearance, the second and third parts of the epic trilogy will have his complete presence. The makers are confident that after Tara Singh, it's Sunny Deol who would be synonymous with Lord Hanuman in modern time," he added.
Well, if the reports are anything to go by, inclusion of Sunny Deol after Rocking Star Yash in the magnum opus would certainly elevate the excitement among all.
As per earlier reports, the makers were in talks with Bobby Deol for Kumbhkaran and Lara Dutta for Queen Kaikeyi; however, Bobby turned down the offer. Now, the makers are in discussions with Vijay Sethupathi for Vibhisan However, there are no official reports backing the claims. Undeniably, the movie will be one of the greatest Indian movie comprising an ensemble star cast from all industries.
Reportedly, Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will start shooting for the magnum opus on 2nd March this year. Ranbir and Sai will shoot scenes with heavy dialogue while other sequences and war scenes have been scheduled for April and May. The director aims to wrap these major sequences before the onset of monsoon season. Later, Yash will join the star cast in June-July 2024 and will shoot for 15 days to complete his part in first part of the movie.
The shooting of first part of the movie is expected to get wrapped up by July 2024. The makers have allocated 500 days to complete the post-production work out of which most of the work will be on VFX.
Movie lovers are quite anxious regarding the future of the movie after witnessing the debacle of Adipurush. However, fans are hopeful that the Dangal helmer will leave no stone unturned to turn Ramayan into a visual spectacle. It is not just the director; even Ranbir has made sacrifices to essay the role of Lord Ram.
As per a throwback report, Ranbir made profound sacrifices to bring in Lord Ram's purity for the movie. Back on October 10, 2023, reports surfaced that Ranbir was gearing up to portray the iconic character of Lord Ram for Nitesh's Ramayan for which he embraced a lifetime transformation.
According to close sources to the Brahmastra actor, Ranbir willingly sacrificed alcohol, and non-veg food. Moreover, he also refrained from indulging in late-night parties.
As per the report in Koimoi, Ranbir didn't make these sacrifices for mere public image. Rather, it was his dedication to feel as pure as Lord Ram. While shooting for Ramayan, the Sanju actor committed himself to a disciplined routine, abstaining strictly from alcohol and meat consumption.
Undeniably, this transformation showcased his commitment to delving deep into the character while aligning his habits with the spiritual essence of Shri Ram.
The source further emphasised that RK's commitment wasn't confined to avoiding these indulgences for the camera. Rather, it was a sincere effort to immerse himself into the character by embodying the traits and virtues of Lord Ram.
The Bollywood heartthrob has proven himself as a dedicated actor in different roles. Be it Barfi, Sanju, or Ranvijay in Animal, he has cemented his place in the hearts of movie lovers with his stellar performance. Now, portraying Lord Ram's character onscreen is indeed a big challenge for RK. However, fans are hopeful that RK won't let them down.
While reports are abuzz that Sunny Deol might be seen as Lord Hanuman, the latest rumours suggest that the makers are in talks with Bobby Deol for Kumbhkaran and Lara Dutta for Queen Kaikeyi. However, there is no official statement backing the claims.
While speculations are rife about Sunny, Bobby, and Lara, it has been learned that Yash has been confirmed to play Ravana in the highly anticipated movie.
Rumour mills are abuzz that Ranbir confirmed Yash playing the character of Demon King. While it is expected that Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will go on floors in March, Yash will join the team in July.
This will be the first part of the planned trilogy.
Well, such reports have elevated the excitement among all. However, official confirmation is awaited for the same.
Fans are well aware of the efforts that Yash made for KGF’s pan-India release. However, recently, a video emerged on social media in which Yash has revealed several interesting anecdotes related to the movie as well as his personal life.
In the video titled,”60 Seconds With Yash,” the KGF actor can be seen answering the queries made by anxious fans.
Yash begins the session with, “Hi guys, this is 60 seconds with Yash. And this is questions of fans.” A glass bowl full of folded papers can be seen on a table right beside Yash.
He picks up the first chit from the bowl to start the session.
The first question flashes on the screen: What is the weirdest thing a fan has requested you to sign?
Recalling an incident, Yash said, “Once a fan came up to me and he wanted me to sign on his arm. So I asked him, ‘Why don’t you get a paper, at least you can keep it and save it.’ He said, ‘Anna, it will be saved.’ Next day he comes with a tattoo on his arm...so my autograph has been tattooed on his arm.”
The next question read: Do you have anything in common with Rocky?
“Yeah!! I go around with a lot of attitude,” Yash replied.
Below is the series of questions asked by fans and Yash’s replies.
Q: Why did you agree to do this film?

Undeniably, fans across the country are eagerly waiting to watch Yash’s next. While it has been officially announced that Yash will be next seen in ‘Toxic’, reports are abuzz that he has been roped in for essaying the role of Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. However, there has been no confirmed report yet. On the other hand, fans are eagerly waiting for updates on KGF Chapter 3.
As per the latest reports, RK is gearing up for his next venture, collaborating with director Nitesh Tiwari for the epic Ramayana. If the reports are anything to go by, the Brahmastra actor will begin shooting for the magnum opus in March this year.
The shooting commencement for the mythological drama is slated for 2nd March 2024 in Mumbai. Moreover, an additional schedule has been planned for April and May this year.
While the anticipation surrounding the cinematic spectacle remains high, the latest development suggests that filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has outlined an extensive shooting schedule at Film City. In the first phase, Ranbir and Sai will shoot scenes with heavy dialogue while other sequences and war scenes have been scheduled for April and May. The director aims to wrap these sequences before the onset of the monsoon season.
Mid-Day quoted a source in an earlier report revealing that the cast and crew were recently informed that March 2 is the big day. “Nitesh sir has charted out a long schedule in Film City. In the first part of the leg, Ranbir and Sai will shoot the dialogue-heavy scenes. The major crowd sequences, including some war portions, will be shot in April and May.”
Reportedly, the makers have plans to release the movie in the second half of 2025.
Nitesh and VFX powerhouse DNEG have collaborated extensively and have invested months in crafting the mythological universe for their upcoming epic. The pre-production phase involved intricate look tests and 3D mapping sessions with the cast. Furthermore, Ranbir will fly to Los Angeles in February for major technical rehearsals at the DNEG office.
Further, the source added, “In the first few weeks of the shoot, the makers will also be flying down expert technicians from Los Angeles to help them get familiar with the process.”
Well, such developments related to the movie would certainly ignite excitement among movie lovers eagerly waiting for the movie.
Ramayana will be a three-part movie. While Ranbir will essay the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Mata Sita and Yash will don the character of Demon King Ravana. Moreover, the latest buzz suggests, Sunny Deol could be seen as Lord Hanuman. However, there is no official statement backing the claims.
Renowned for his role in the blockbuster KGF series, Yash decided to postpone the shooting of his upcoming film, Toxic, in response to the unfortunate incident, as per the News18 report.
Days before his birthday, Yash had announced a brief hiatus, expressing gratitude for his fans' unwavering support and their enthusiasm for Toxic. However, the joyous occasion turned into grief as news of the electrocution incident reached him, resulting in three fan fatalities and hospitalisation of three others.
Deeply affected by the tragedy, Yash promptly visited the families of the deceased to offer condolences and check on the injured individuals. His decision to delay Toxic's shooting reflects empathy and concern for the grieving families and the shock within his fan base.
“The heartfelt wishes mean the most to me. Tragic incidents like these make me apprehensive about my birthday. This isn’t how fandom should be expressed,” Yash conveyed, urging fans to avoid risky activities for celebrations.
Yash emphasised that true fandom lies in personal growth and leading happy, successful lives. “If you truly respect me, prioritize responsibility. Remember, your parents await you at home,” he pleaded, expressing his intention to minimize extravagant displays of fan love for the safety of his admirers.
In addition to the tragedy, Yash highlighted his decision to forego elaborate birthday celebrations due to rising COVID-19 cases. Opting for a simple celebration with family, he emphasised the importance of responsibility during challenging times.
Amid the report of Kareena and Yash starring together in ‘Toxic’, Bebo’s team shared an official statement urging the media to refrain from premature conjecture. The statement reads, “There have been many speculations doing the rounds about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next film. While we understand the excitement and the anticipation, we request the media to refrain from premature conjecture about her next project and its star cast.”
This clarification from Kareena’s team has come as a shock to all her fans as everyone wanted her to share the screen space with Yash. The Rocky Bhai is currently one of the biggest superstars in the country and it would have been a dream collaboration.
However, hold onto your popcorn, because while Toxic may not be on Kareena Kapoor’s cards, something very exciting is brewing. While Kareena’s team broke the hearts of several fans with their announcement, they promised another exciting journey for Bebo ahead.
“Something very exciting is coming up very soon and we request everyone to wait for the official announcement soon,” the statement further stated. While the team did not mention any particular project, Kareena is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘The Crew’.
She also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ opposite Ajay Devgn. Her last film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan was a box office failure while she impressed critics with her performance in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Jaane Jaan’, a Netflix original film.
However, while installing a cut-out of Yash at the Surangi Village in the district of Lakshmeshwar, three young boys were accidentally electrocuted as they came in contact with a live electric wire. Three more fans were injured and are undergoing treatment at the nearby hospital.

The Sandalwood actor could be seen sitting in his car in a simple white shirt with his trademark hairstyle (hair tied behind) as fans crowded around his automobile. Reportedly, Yash has promised to help the families of the deceased monetarily although no mention of the exact amount has been made.
The 38-year-old actor has been disturbed immensely by this tragic event and has urged his fans to show love in the right way. He said that if fans wish him from wherever they are it would be the best wish for him because tragic incidents like these make him fear his birthday. Yash urged, “Please do not show your love like this. I would like to request you all. Do not hang banners, don’t do bike chases, and take dangerous selfies.”
The KGF 2 star added,” I intend that all my fans and audience should grow and be happy in their lives. If you are my true fans then do you work diligently, dedicate your life to yourself, and be happy and successful.” Yash requested his fans that they should give their parents and families priority and work and grow for them.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday in Soranagi village near Lakshmeshwar town in Gadag district, Karnataka. The injured individuals are currently under treatment at a hospital.
The deceased have been identified as 24-year-old Hanumantha Harijan, 20-year-old Murali Nadumani, and 20-year-old Naveen Gaji. Manjunath Harijan, Prakash Myageri, and Deepak Harijan have sustained serious injuries in the incident.
A group of youths from the village were setting up the cut-out to express their love for the 'KGF' Series superstar Yash on January 8, marking the occasion of his birthday. Due to the darkness at night, the victims were unable to see the high-tension electric wire.
Local MLA Chandru Lamani visited the injured persons at the hospital in Lakshmeshwar and offered condolences to the families of those who died in the incident.
District in-charge Minister H.K. Patil stated that he had gathered information from the DC and SP and will discuss with CM Siddaramaiah regarding compensation for the victims.
SP B.S. Nemagoud mentioned that a group of Yash's fans, approximately nine members, were installing a cut-out with an iron frame, which came in contact with the electric wire. The condition of two injured persons is critical, he added.
Friends of the deceased and their families have demanded that Yash should visit the village and the bereaved families
He takes to Instagram and shares glimpses of his time with his children, Ayra and Yatharv. Just a few days after New Year’s Eve, the KGF star once again treated his fans with a family picture and fans are completely in awe!
In the caption, he wrote, “Where love is unconditional, laughter unfiltered and dreams turn into reality… Wishing you all a very Happy New Year from our family to yours🤗🧿”
In the pictures, Yash can be seen sitting on a chair next holding his daughter in his arms. Standing next to him is actress Radhika Pandit who is carrying their son. The family poses next to a Christmas tree. Since being shared on Instagram, the post has already garnered 2.2M likes.
Fans and followers flooded the comment section with thousands of congratulatory and best wishes for the New Year and requested Yash to return to the big screen as soon as possible.
On the work front, Yash will return with this 19th film that is titled ‘Toxic’. The much-awaited movie will reportedly mark the debut of Kareena Kapoor in the Sandalwood industry. If reports are to be believed, Kareena will romance Yash in the gangster-drama film.
However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard.
His latest release ‘Salaar’ has made a monstrous start and is shattering all the existing records. The Prashanth Neel directorial has beaten the opening day collections of SRK’s Pathaan and Jawan and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’. While Salaar has collected Rs 95 crore in India, Jawan had collected Rs 75 crore on the first day, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ collected Rs 63 crore and SRK’s Pathaan earned Rs 57 crore.

Although Salaar did not meet the expectations of fans like Prashanth Neel’s previous films KGF: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, the mass action movie is getting good response as compared to SRK’s Dunki. The movie has emerged as the winner in the clash this Christmas.
Now, the film’s lead actress Shruti Haasan has given the entire credit of the movie’s success to director Prashanth Neel. Appearing in a show, Shruti stated that it is not Prabhas or she who should take the credit, but the credit goes to Prashanth Neel for his vision.
“I’m sure Prabhas will also agree with me, everything starts and begins with the vision, that is Prashanth Sir,” Shruti stated.
She also shared her experience of working with Prabhas and lovingly called him ‘DAWATH’.
“He called me and I said there were only 4 people in the shooting set. However, he sent food for 400 people. That is Prabhas. He is so caring person. I call him DAWATH,” she added.
Meanwhile, the positive word of mouth from fans is benefitting Salaar as compared to Dunki. Prabhas fans are finally super happy that their favourite star is receiving all the love that he deserves, especially after the poor performance of Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush.
Prabhas fans are super excited about the return of their favourite star. However, fans were hoping to see Prabhas share the screen with everyone’s favourite Rocky Bhai aka Yash in Salaar. The two stars would have set the box office on fire if Rocky bhai had a cameo in the film, even if for few minutes.
Unfortunately, Prashanth Neel has clarified that the worlds of Salaar and KGF are not connected, so it is impossible to see Rocky bhai and Salaar together. However, a few eagle-eyed fans spotted Rocky bhai in the movie, but not in a cameo role.

Yash was brought up in the opening credits of Salaar. No, no we don’t mean in a cameo role. But Hombale Films which is backing Salaar expressed their gratitude to Yash with a special thank you note.
A ‘Thank You’ slide was placed in the opening credits dedicated to Rocky Bhai. The slide reads ‘Special thanks to Rocking Star Yash’. Although Prashanth Neel and Prabhas are yet to comment on the thank you note, fans are speculating that they expressed their gratitude towards Yash for being part of the film’s muhuratham shot.

For the unversed, Yash had attended the muhurat puja and first shot of the film. He also posed for a few photos with Prabhas.
Moreover, the title reveal video of Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’ was also played during the interval of Salaar and fans welcomed it with a massive roar. Yash will return to the big screen with ‘Toxic’ on April 10, 2025.
The unveiling took place at 9:55 am, following heightened excitement among netizens fueled by KVN Productions' quiz about the title. Geethu Mohandas, in collaboration with Yash, drew inspiration from Britney Spears, opting for the intriguing and enigmatic title "Toxic." The film is poised to be an action-oriented venture set against the backdrop of the drug mafia operating in the vibrant locales of Goa.
While the title teaser doesn't divulge much about the film's genre or subject, the announcement also came with a release date. "Toxic" is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2025, marking almost a three-year gap since the release of KGF: Chapter 2.
Adding to the excitement, reports claim that Sai Pallavi will make her debut in the Sandalwood industry as the female lead. Although the complete cast is yet to be officially confirmed, the prospect of this dynamic on-screen pairing has already generated considerable buzz among fans.
Producer Vijay Kiragandur initially set October 2022 to start the filming for KGF-3, but Yash expressed a desire for a different project before reprising his iconic role.
Recent updates suggest that KGF: Chapter 3 remains in the pipeline, though director Prashanth Neel is uncertain about helming the project. In an interview with Pinkvilla during the promotions of Salaar: Ceasefire, the first part of Prabhas-led Salaar, Prashanth mentioned that a script is ready for KGF-3, allowing the team to announce it confidently.
However, his commitment to Salaar 2 and a film with NTR Jr may hinder his ability to direct the next KGF installment. Prashanth has previous experience with this dynamic, as he has written Sriimurali's Bagheera, directed by Dr Suri, while staying informed about its progress.
Salaar: Ceasefire is scheduled for a December 22 release, setting up a clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki. Although Prashanth denies Salaar being an updated Ugramm, his debut film, audiences speculate from the trailer that Salaar is a refined version, labelled by some as Ugramm 2.0. As the fate of KGF: Chapter 3 hangs in the balance, fans eagerly await further developments in the KGF saga.
The excitement had been building up as eagle-eyed fans noticed him changing his social media Display Picture to 'Loading,' sparking speculation that a major update was imminent.
The moment seems to have arrived sooner than expected, as the pivotal title announcement for 'Yash 19' is scheduled for December 8th at 9:55 am. KVN Productions, the backers of the film, will share intriguing update through their social media handles on the specified date.
Sharing the update on X, Yash wrote, “It’s time… 8th December, 9:55 AM. Stay tuned to @KvnProductions #Yash19”.

Can't wait https://t.co/ydqS0jqn3l
Yash, known for his patience, has been encouraging fans to wait, assuring them that every day has been dedicated to crafting something special. The special treat, he has meticulously put together, will finally be unveiled in just a couple of days.
Attending the teaser launch of the film ‘Kotabommali PS’, Allu Aravind opened up about stars hiking their remuneration after giving a hit and how it impacted the budget of the film. While sharing his thoughts, he took Yash as an example and said, “Who was Yash before the release of KGF? Why did that movie make noise? It was that richness that led to the success of the movie. This is just one example. Whoever the hero of the movie is, it is because of the making that it attracts the audience.”
Yash fans immediately launched a scathing attack on Allu Arjun and his father after a video of his comment went viral on YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Rocking star Yash the biggest superstar of India. Just wait for Ramayana and Yash 19 ❤️🤩👑🤫” commented a fan.
Another fan wrote, “Yash came to Industry without background and his father was a bus driver and Allu Arjun came from his father's support. Now everyone decide who is great.”
“Who is your son even in TFI without Chiranjeevi & before Pushpa. Yash doesn't have & maintain PR teams like your son. Telugu ppl, media PPL everyone know about cheap tricks played by u and your son. Most pr maintain actor in TFI & self dabba actor. Yash is not a Surgeries actor too, not a nepo kid, your surgery star u, he & his Pr teams themselves promote & don't leave any chance to say he is a star and you are talking about Yash,” commented another fan.
The first movie was such a big hit that movie buffs across the country were excited to see the second part of this Prashanth Neel-helmed project.
This has been the question fans have been asking for a long time. KGF 2 was released in April 2022 and was a big hit as expected. Now, it's been more than a year and there has been no announcement from the Sandalwood superstar about his next project.
It has made his fans a bit edgy. But now Yash has made everyone happy by confirming that he is all set to start working on a new movie soon and will make the announcement related to the same in the coming days.
The moment Yash declared it in front of the audience, everyone was elated and rejoiced. As expected hours after this announcement, the gossip mill and the speculations have already started churning out stories with many even saying that Yash’s upcoming movie will be directed by the National Award-winning Bollywood director Geetu Mohandas.
There is also a strong buzz that the update regarding Yash 19 will be announced on November 1 which is celebrated as the Karnataka Rajyotsava. Also, there is a rumour that the movie will be bankrolled by Lohith NK under his production banner KVN Productions.
Apart from Yash 19, it is almost confirmed that the superstar has agreed to play the role of King Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi playing the role of Lord Ram and Sita respectively.
One thing is quite sure Yash has something up his sleeves as he was spotted with Hollywood stunt choreographer and director JJ Perry in London.

He was also spotted scouting locations in Sri Lanka. Speculations are adrift that Yash had gone there as he is playing the role of Ravan who was the King of Lanka.
And of course, speculations are also very strong that Yash might soon join hands with Prashanth Neel for KGF 3.
Although Yash has been lying low after the success of KGF 2 and is yet to announce his next project, the dashing actor often trends on social media. Recently, a video of Yash is going viral where he can be heard sharing the hard truth of life.
In the viral interview, the handsome hunk can be heard sharing his experience on success and failure. Speaking at an interview, Yash said, “You have to be extremely careful when you’re successful. Failure is very practical, very real. People just run away from you.”
“Whoever is close to you or anybody, I’ve seen that in my childhood itself. People who used to be very close to our family, respect or spend good times, be in good times, they run away when you are in problem. In failure, you learn to be with yourself and you learn to handle it. It always teaches you a lesson,” he stressed.
Fans are able to relate to each and every word spoken by Yash and took to the comment section of the video to heap praises on the ‘Masterpiece’ actor.
“My sixth sense days he will take indian cinema industry to next level... ❤,” a fan commented.
Another fan wrote, “Now that’s a voice and reasoning of a person who has his feet on the ground, balanced head and sensible.. a far cry from what Bollywood dishes out… the last one who actually had the intellect is unfortunately no more (RIP SSR)…”
“God makes very rare gems like this guy ❤❤❤ see his tone, it is surreal, so polite not like the Bollywood arrogant actors,” commented a third user.
Meanwhile, on the work front, reports suggest that Yash is all set to collaborate with Geethu Mohandas for his 19th film. However, fans need to wait for an official announcement by the dashing star.
Several reports and speculations related to Yash19 were abuzz. But, without any tangible reports, fans got disheartened. However, the last reports of Yash teaming up with Geethu Mohandas for an action movie sparked excitement among all.
Now, the fresh reports suggest that Yash has finally locked his next with the national award-winning director.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, Yash is all set to collaborate with Geethu Mohandas in which the Rocking Star will feature in a completely new avatar.
Pinkvilla quoted a close source to the development as saying, “Yash is all set to start shooting for Yash 19 from December 2023. The prep work is going on at the moment, and Yash too will be undergoing several look tests in the time to come. Yash was offered scripts from across the industries, and it’s Geethu Mohandas’ next that has stayed with him.”
Further, the source added that the KGF actor was actively involved in the project with Geethu Mohandas. He was involved with the director right from script to pre-production.
He added, “The stakes are high and Yash wants to be sure of what he is taking up next. He sat down with Geethu and discussed various aspects before locking it all on the paper. He is now ready to move into the prep stage as an actor and start rolling around December this year.”
However, fans need to wait for an official announcement for the same.
Currently, Yash enjoys massive stardom with fans across the globe. Following the humongous success of KGF 2, fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of his next movie. While all eyes are on the official updates, Yash along with his wife Radhika Pandit and children left his fans rejoiced after dropping a set of pictures that give a glimpse into their Varamahalakshmi puja.

Hombale Films recently dropped a teaser of their upcoming movie, 'Salaar', also helmed by the KGF director Prashanth Neel, and starring Telugu star Prabhas. It is set to release on September 28.
While numerous rumours have been abuzz regarding Yash19, the latest reports suggested that Yash teamed up with National award-winning director Geethu Mohandas for a ‘gangster film.’ Certainly, the reports raised excitement and anticipation among all. But, no further updates on the project left everyone disheartened.
However, finally, Yash has opened up about his upcoming project for the first time.
Recently, Yash attended an event in Malaysia where he opened up about his next flick with the tentative title Yash19. The KGF fame said, “I'm working hard towards something. I won't say it will be something massive, but it will be a good film and a good product. I will be announcing it very soon, have a little patience, and trust me. You can surely expect one good kick-ass film.”
A few days earlier, when Yash was inquired about his upcoming, in his hometown, he said, "We have been working hard for a really long time, and what we are putting together something that will make everyone happy. It will happen very soon. As I've said already, it is my responsibility to make them happy and I will try and fulfil it."
Further, Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development as saying, “The expectations are sky high from Yash, however, he has followed his heart and is on the verge of signing a story that justifies the hype rather than chasing budgets and big names.”
Further, talking about the project, the source added, “The Geethu Mohandas film is expected to be announced within the next 30 days. It’s in the advanced stage of discussion at the moment and everything is expected to hopefully be locked in a fortnight”
Fans had pinned high hopes on Prashanth Neel and it seems, the KGF helmer has met the expectations of all.
Hombale Films dropped the much-awaited teaser of Salaar on Thursday. The teaser shows Tinu Anand surrounded by hundreds of gunmen. While Tinu warns the henchmen, he starts his narration by introducing Prabhas’ character. The visuals confirm that the movie is set in the backdrop of a mining area. Tinu describes Prabhas’ character as a dinosaur and the mines as Jurassic Park.
As disclosed earlier, Prabhas will be seen in his most violent avatar in Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire and the glimpse of the Rebel Star in the teaser says it all. While the teaser has filled excitement among all, it is on its way to script new records. In just 12 hours, the teaser was viewed over 33 million times.
Meanwhile, fans have found a close resemblance of the visuals in the teaser with KGF. While KGF's story revolved around gold mines, Salaar also has a similar backdrop. Furthermore, the marching force into the mines in Salaar is also matching with the pre-climax of KGF Chapter 2 when the Indian Army forces into Narachi and later destroyed it.
Sharing two pictures, one user has compared the letters and numbers inscribed on a roof and a tanker. While one picture is from the post-credit scene of KGF, the other picture is from the Salaar teaser. The set of numbers and letters are similar and the location also seems to be the same.

Even producer Vijay Kiragandur had disclosed that there could be more parts of KGF and not just KGF Chapter 3. Though Neel didn’t clarify, he didn’t deny either.

Moreover, several fan theories had earlier surfaced claiming crossover of KGF and Salaar. Even, recent reports suggest that the KGF helmer has plans for creating 'Neel Verse' which might also include Jr NTR’s upcoming with Neel.
Well, joining all the dots, it can be speculated that Salaar and KGF might have a crossover and Yash may be seen as Rocky Bhai in an extended cameo in Salaar. If the speculations are anything to go by, fans will get to see Yash and Prabhas together in Salaar which may also break several box office records.
However, to explore the reality, fans need to wait with patience till September 28 for Salaar’s worldwide theatrical release. The movie also stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles.
The couple who had got engaged on January 1, 2020 on a cruise tied the knot during the Covid-19 lockdown. Later, the couple was blessed with a son Agastya in July 2020. However, the couple decided to renew their wedding vows on February 14 this year and had a grand celebration.
Natasa has been giving a glance of the behind-the-scenes of the fun-filled wedding through her YouTube vlog ‘Pitch Perfect – Fairy Tale Love Story’. In the video, fans can see the BTS fun that the couple and their guests had at the wedding in Rajasthan.
However, fans are surprised to spot KGF star Yash and his actress-wife Radhika Pandit at the wedding. The ‘Rocky Bhai’ looks as handsome as always in a traditional black sherwani.
Yash and Radhika can be seen making a dashing entry and congratulating the couple. Yash even hugs Hardik and can be seen shaking a leg with the lovely couple. The ‘KGF’ actor then playfully pushes Hardik’s brother Krunal to join him on the stage.
In the video, we can see Natasa fangirling over Yash and having a candid conversation with him as Hardik watches them amusingly. The video has left fans in awe of the bond between the Pandya brothers and Yash.
Talking about the wedding, the Team India all-rounder and Gujarat Titans captain married Natasa as per Hindu rituals after a Christian wedding on Valentine’s Day at Raffles Hotel in Udaipur. Sharing a few pictures from the ceremony, Natasa captioned, “Now and forever.”
Today on Father’s Day, Radhika Pandit shared a series of pictures showing Yash with their kids Ayra and Yatharv. Earlier, fans have come across several pictures of Yash with his kids having fun. But, the latest series of pictures were shared for the first time by Radhika.
Sharing the set of pictures, Radhika captioned her post: I have always been a Daddy's girl, always running to him for everything..(be it permission denied by mom, for advice, sometimes simply to talk) he is my guide, my pillar, my hero!!
Further, she added: Feels so good to see Ayra n Yatharv share that bond I have with my Pappa, with their Dadda Happy Father's Day to all the best Dads out there!!
While in the first picture, Yash is seen applying nail paint on his daughter Ayra's leg, the second picture shows the KGF star playing chess with his son.
The third and fourth picture shows Radhika posing with her family while in the last picture, Yash is seen carrying Ayra and Yatharv in his arms.
Well, all these pictures have elated the admirers and they have showered love for the rocking family. On the other hand, fans have also requested to share Yash19 and KGF Chapter 3 updates. The comments prove the anticipation for upcoming movies of Yash and fans’ love for him.
As per the latest reports, Rocking Star Yash has reportedly turned down the offer to play the character of Demon King in the magnum opus. The report suggests that helmer Nitesh Tiwari approached Yash for playing Ravana’s character in his ambitious project. However, Yash is not too keen to play a negative character at this point in his career.
Further, the report also stated that Yash is aware of his fans’ expectations and they won’t like him to take up a negative character.
India Today quoted a Kannada film industry source as saying, “Yash is very mindful of what his fans want and, right now, they definitely will not accept him in a negative role. He has always believed in his fans and gone by their sentiments so he will not be taking up this role."
Though there is no official confirmation backing the buzz, the reports certainly must have disheartened many eagerly waiting for Yash’s Bollywood debut.
On the other hand, Yash’s fans are eagerly waiting for the next movie announcement of their matinee idol. While there has been strong buzz about Yash19 in which Yash will be teaming up with national award-winning director Geethu Mohandas for a gangster film, there has been no confirmation yet.
It is worthwhile to mention that Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan.
