As India reopens and the COVID-19 pandemic is visibly on a declining trend, many companies are planning to end work from home. Offices are gearing up to call their employees back to the desks.
It's already been over a year now, when most of the corporate sector shifted to a work from home (WFH) plan following the pandemic outbreak. But now, companies want to get employees back to the office desks again.
With the effect of the second wave of the pandemic slowly waning and vaccination picking up, several IT companies are slowly calling employees back to their offices.
As Coronavirus cases are declining and with vaccination picking up, the world is expecting to return to normalcy again. When the pandemic started in March 2020, the entire corporate world was forced to adopt Work from Home (WFH) policy to tackle the outbreak. But, it also can't be denied that they have been quite successful in doing so.
In a bid to tackle the spread of the Coronavirus among employees, companies sent their employees home. In a few days, companies have had to adopt a pure work from home or in some cases they chose a hybrid model.
The Workforce and Increment Trends survey 2021 conducted by Deloitte revealed that only 40 percent organisations have finalised their return to work strategy. This means that 60% of companies surveyed are yet to devise a return policy.
