The Indian government will bring its citizens back to their homes from Afghanistan, like we did in the Vande Bharat Mission, through Air India and the Indian Air Force (IAF) planes.

The US and other Western countries resumed their flights to evacuate their citizens and Afghan allies from the country. Commercial flights are still stopped.

Biden stood by his decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan while acknowledging Kabul's collapse to the Taliban came much sooner than Washington had anticipated.

The NATO chief said that lessons will need to be learned, but at the moment the priority is to evacuate as many people as possible from Afghanistan.
