The patient, who is in the ICU for post-surgery recovery, told doctors that he was forced to 'eat' the spoons in a deaddiction centre.

In a shocking incident, doctors at the MKCG hospital in Berhampur removed a steel glass from a patient’s intestine. As per reports, the 45-year-old patient hailing from Balipadar area under Buguda block of Ganjam district, worked at a cotton mill in Surat. The victim had a booze party with his friends about 10 days back when they allegedly inserted the steel glass in his anus in an intoxicated condition.

In a critical surgery, doctors at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur successfully removed a steel glass from the intestine of a patient.

The child has now been discharged and is in stable condition.
