The Supreme Court on Thursday (June 3) asked the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to finalize the assessment criteria for Class 12 board exams in two weeks.
The Supreme Court on Friday said every journalist should be granted protection against prosecution under penal provisions of sedition, barring when his/her news report either incited violence or disturbed public peace.
The complaint was filed by a BJP leader Ajay Shyam against Dua accusing him of instigating violence against the government by allegedly spreading fake news.
