The teaser trailer of Squid Game Season 2 has just been released and it offers lots of hints and indications.

Dong-hyuk didn't really say much about the potential plot in Season 2. However, he confirmed that the sophomore season would follow Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and his investigation of those behind the deadly, titular tournament.

Google also said it is taking a closer look at trending topics across searches, news, people, "how to's," entertainment, trends and more from across almost 70 countries.

Hwang Dong-hyuk, who directed and wrote 'Squid Game', said in a previous interview that the project had been turned down by local investors and broadcasters for about a decade before Netflix approved it a few years ago.
