The new earbuds -- WF-1000XM4 -- are available in India at Rs 19,990, and are said to be industry-leading noise cancellation earbuds that offer clearer sound with even less noise.
Along with that, the earbuds come with '360 Reality Audio'.
With this feature, a new immersive audio experience can be enjoyed on the earbuds when combined with any smartphone that has a participating streaming services app installed.
The WF-1000XM4 also comes with many other features mentioned below in the detailed review.
In terms of design, the light-weight earbuds offer a different design as compared to its predecessor -- XM3 -- and that goes for the packaging as well. The tech giant has moved to simple, eco-friendly packaging.
The earbuds feature impressive noise cancellation technology. There is a custom chipset -- V1-- that takes the noise cancellation performance of Sony's acclaimed QN1e chip even higher. It also enhances sound quality and reduces distortion.
A newly-designed 6mm driver unit with a 20 per cent increase in magnet volume also improves the WF-1000XM4's noise-cancelling capabilities.
Overall, these comfortable earbuds offer an impressive noise cancellation system that does a decent job of reducing the low rumbles of bus or plane engines.
The earbuds with precise voice pickup technology offer a comfortable hands-free calling experience.
Combining the technology with microphones and a bone-conduction sensor, the earbuds pick up your voice clearly and accurately for hands-free calls.
Additionally, the new bone-conduction sensor only picks up vibrations from voice -- it doesn't register ambient sound -- enabling even clearer speech when making calls.
The earbuds also have a 'Speak-to-Chat' feature that lets users have short conversations without taking out the earbuds.
As soon as a user speaks to someone, 'Speak-to-Chat' automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation.
The earbuds also feature Adaptive Sound Control, a smart feature that senses where the user is and what he/she is doing - for example, travelling, walking or waiting - then adjusts ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience.
Users can opt to have Adaptive Sound Control learn to recognise places that they frequently visit, like the office, the gym, or a favourite cafe and tailor sound to suit the situation.
On a full charge, the earbuds offer around 8 hours of power, and the handy charging case provides a further 16 hours to keep you going throughout the day.
Also, a 5-minute quick charge can give users up to 60 minutes of playtime.
Conclusion: If you are looking for great-sounding lightweight earbuds with impressive noise cancellation, voice-calling capabilities and good battery life, the premium offering by Sony has a strong chance of making it to your ears.
The Bhubaneswar boy performed on Bollywood number "dehleez pe mere dil ki" to contemporary movements along with his choreographer Anuradha in today's episode. As usual he won 'super se upar' tag from Shilpa Shetty and choreographer Geeta Kapoor couldn't control her tears moved by the mother-son relationship presented through the performance. "I have not got an opportunity to be a mother but after this performance I wish I could also have this feeling of being a mother," she said, tears welling up in her eyes. Filmmaker Anurag Basu too compared Jyoti to a raw colour which Anuradha has been able to exploit well to make a beautiful piece of art. Celebrity judge Kapil Sharma who was a part of the show to promote his film Firangi also appreciated both for their flawless performance.
Jyoti who has got a flexible body which he amply portrays in his dance movements revealed that he has been been practising yoga 2 hours every day. The mini yoga baba, as he is fondly called in the show, gave some lessons and demonstration to Kapil on stage.

During his performance, he made the judges Geeta Kapur, Shilpa Shetty and Anurag Basu appreciate each dance move he did with finesse. All the three judges gave him a standing ovation in the presence of his parents.
"I feel you are a 'dancing hero' and am surprised at your mastery in the contemporary dance form. Your hard work and dedication shows and it is because of your guru. But I must also say, given the expertise of our gurus here in the show, you will certainly emerge a great dancer and your skills will be fine tuned," said Geeta Kapur.
The young dancer requested Shilpa Shetty to do some yoga poses with him. Though Shetty went on to the stage, she bowed to the prodigy in appreciation. "Aapko Shastang Pranam," she said. Even Basu did Shavasana with Jyoti on stage.
Though there are a couple of more stages in the dance show to reach the top 12 through mega auditions, hopes will be pinned on the child talent to continue his winning streak. Earlier this week another youngster from Odisha Sabyasachi Satpathy had also entered the Bigg Boss house as a part of a reality show on Colors.
Super Dancer Chapter 2 began last week on Sony and is telecast every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
"We've been undergoing a lot of change. Every component of our business has been touched," Don Mesa, Vice President of Marketing, Sony Mobile, was quoted as saying by the Digital Trends late on Thursday.
The reshuffle heralds a fresh strategy for Sony Mobile. Kimio Maki is the new head of development and comes in from Sony's very successful camera division, the report added.
Maki was part of the brains behind making the Tokyo-headquartered company as a top camera maker.
"We are going to be announcing products at MWC. What we present there will be a first step showing the direction we are going," Mesa added in the report.
Even as Sony Mobile is set to reshuffle in the right direction, the company has maintained users should not expect drastic changes.
Apart from introducing new devices at the Mobile World Congress 2019 (MWC), the company is also likely to update the line-up again at IFA, six months later.
The smartphone with full HD 960fps "Super Slow Motion" video recording will be available at select offline stores and Sony Centre from August 1.
The 5.7-inch full HD+ device with an aspect ratio of 18:9 is built with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and metal frame. It sports 19MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera, the company said in a statement.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 845 Processor and paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It houses 3180mAh battery and supports wireless QI technology which ensures effortless charging.
The smartphone is designed to withstand splashes and spills so you don't have to think twice about answering your phone in the rain, the company added.
The "Xperia XZ2" has the new "Ambient Flow Design" (with a fluid 3D glass surface) housing "Dynamic Vibration System" that analyses audio data.
The smartphone also comes equipped with Google's development platform "ARCore" for building Augmented Reality (AR) apps for Android mobile devices and Google lens.
Google Lens allows AI to recognise what you photographed using the camera, search for and display related information, recognise characters, capture them as text and translate.

"'XAV-AX5000' would enable smarter navigation, communication and music-play from user's phone with intelligent voice control, possible through 'Android Auto' and 'Apple CarPlay'," the company said in a statement.
The new system comes with a 17.6 cm bezel-less flush surface display with capacitive touch screen with options including mapping, sorting playlists and making phone calls.
Along with extra bass, "XAV-AX5000" incorporates a "dynamic stage organiser" (DSO) which creates vivid sound image as if there were speakers on the dashboard, 10-band equaliser (EQ10), "free lossless audio codec (FLAC)" audio file compatibility via USB terminal that compresses files without any loss in quality, the company claimed.
Sony's latest addition also comes with the "quick wake up" feature, rear view camera and dual USB ports to allow users to add various storage devices and to play from any music library of their choice.
"XAV-AX5000" is available in black colour across car accessories shops and showrooms pan nation.
Available from October 14 at Alpha flagship stores and major electronic outlets, the camera claims to have the world's fastest, 0.03 second high-speed auto focus (AF) with 315 focal-plane phase-detection AF points.
The device is capable of 4K movie recording with tiltable LCD screen, housing "Touch Focus" and "Touch Pad" features.
Building on the success of last year's RX10 III, the new camera features up to 24 frames per second (fps) continuous shooting with full AF/AE tracking.
It has 315 phase-detection AF points that rivals the fastest professional interchangeable lens cameras, the company said in a statement.
The RX10 IV model delivers an unmatched combination of mobility and speed for imaging enthusiasts and professionals looking for the ultimate 'all-in-one' solution.
For the first time in a Cyber-shot camera, the RX10 IV model employs "High-density Tracking AF" technology.
This advanced technology concentrates AF points around a subject to improve tracking and focus accuracy, allowing even the most unpredictable subjects including fast-moving athletes and birds in-flight to be captured with ease.
For convenience during image playback, continuously shot images can be displayed in groups instead of individual shots.
The RX10 IV also has a high-speed "Anti-Distortion Shutter" (maximum shutter speed of up to 1/32000 second) that reduces the "rolling shutter" effect commonly experienced with fast moving subjects.
It helps shoot silently in all modes -- including continuous high-speed shooting -- when the electronic shutter is engaged.
A mechanical shutter mode is also available as well if required by the user, the company said.
The development was effective from Monday, according to an official statement issued on behalf of the channel on Tuesday.
"We are pulling off our programme 'Pehredaar Piya Ki' from television. While we understand that the decision to end this serial will be disappointing to those whose creative energies are vested in it, namely, its crew and cast, we (as a channel) are convinced that we will be better served by focusing instead on developing viewer interest in our upcoming, new shows.
"We are grateful to all the artists, producers and fans of our shows and request you to graciously support the viewership of our newer ventures," the statement read.
Earlier this month, the Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC) had directed the channel to shift the show to a late night slot, besides running it with a scroll stating that it does not promote the concept of child marriage.
Even an online petition was moved for a ban on the TV show, which has been described as having "obnoxious and perverted" content that can "severely impact impressionable minds of children".
The makers have been defending it all along, saying viewers must understand the circumstances in which the girl has to marry the child.
"Pehredaar Piya Ki", produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, went on air last month. The makers were also reportedly planning to add a forward leap to the story.
Though Sunil Grover had earlier hinted- ‘If it is God's will, he will work with Kapil Sharma once again’ following their bitter battle of words, the duo has least given it a thought and preferred to mind its own business.
Recently on Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum show, fans witnessed a double dose of entertainment as Dr Mashoor Gulati and charming singer Neha Kakkar came to the show as competitors.
Gulati’s entry was as always epic. He challenged Neha by saying -“I am the competitor and the competition will be very tough for you. My Anuman (prediction) is my anuman, none of your anuman,” he reinvented a dialogue copied from Race 3.
Whatsoever, Dr Gulati’s comedy timing is still bang on.
Reiterating the fact, when host Salman questioned what percentage of Indians don’t hesitate to burp in front of others, the audience rolled on floor after Gulati answered its not ‘First Night’ that one will get ashamed of.

Dr Gulaati continued with his funny tricks and placed a cockroach on Neha’s hand to frighten her. The cockroach is dead, but ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, pointing at Salman he said.

Salman too made the most out of the comedy environment. “Neha, you perform really well along with singing,” said Salman to Neha. When she thanked him, he immediately prompted and corrected himselfby saying sometimes we have to lie (Kabhi Kabhi Jhoot Bolna Padta Hai).

Meanwhile, fans are still hoping to see Kapil and Sunil together. The two comedians, who made a popular duo in "Comedy Nights With Kapil", had parted ways after a mid-air brawl. Since then, there has been much talk on whether they will ever reunite.
During the IPL season, Sunil was at the preview of "Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Live" along with Kapil Dev, Shilpa Shinde, Sugandha Mishra, Ali Asgar, Samir Kochhar, Archana Vijaya and Shibani Dandekar, when he was asked about reconciling with Kapil.
He told the media: "I really had a nice experience whenever I have worked with him. Kapil is a very talented artiste and he makes people laugh through his performances. I pray for his good health and I hope he will continue doing his job. God willing, we will definitely work together."

Sunil is also of the opinion that there is nothing like competition. If more artistes come forward to make people laugh, then it is good for the audience as they will have less tension in their lives, he told.
"Laughter and happiness are necessary for our country. So the more people laugh, it is more beneficial for their health” – Sunil Grover.
The duo shared fantastic comedy timing and took ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to a new height where hardly any show can dream of reaching.
Meanwhile, speculations have been rife that Sunil Grover might soon end up joining the new show along with his other old teammates.
In a recent interview, Sunil Grover expressed that people press him to join Kapil and his team and that he was happy being a part of this team a year ago. He even said that he might have considered coming back to the show.
Yes, Dr Gulati said that he would have considered working with Kapil Sharma in his new show if he was offered before the start of the show. Sunil further stated that he came to know about the new show much later than the media and the common people.

Grover reiterated that there were no calls whatsoever from anybody about joining the show. However, talking about his fans Sunil said people are now of the impression that he has become arrogant because of which he is not ready to work with Kapil anymore in his new show, however he disagreed with it.
It all started last Friday when Sunil posted a tweet where he wrote that though he waited for a call, no one approached him. And finally he signed a new project. Kapil in reply reacted angrily and called Sunil Grover a liar and the whole Twiterratti reacted, with a faction supporting Kapil, another supporting Grover.
Kapil said that he had called Sunil more than hundred times and even went to his house but failed to get a response from him.
The matter became even more serious when Sunil Grover said” Kidney 2 aur liver 1 hee hai’ and asked Kapil to take care of his health and later pointed at the timings Kapil posted his tweets.
The new small screen comedy show Family Time With Kapil Sharma is likely to get telecast in the last week of March where apart from Kapil Sharma, Neha Pendse, Kapil’sold teammates Kiku Sharda and friend Chandan Prabhakar will be seen.
However, Sunil Grover joining the new show has not been confirmed yet as he mentioned about signing a new show, and not 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma'.
Kapil Sharma posted a tweet where he said that he has tolerated enough and now everything will be posted on Twitter.
Ab saari baat Twitter pe hogi.. nothing personal .. bahut ho gya
— KAPIL (@KapilSharmaK9) March 17, 2018
Kapil followed with another tweet and said, "The truth is .. he wanted more money n his name in new show.. I never asked for my name.channels only offered me coz I was the creative producer.. he used to come n read his script .. now let's see how he make u laugh .double standard". However, this tweet was later deleted by Kapil.
Sunil did not delay in giving a reply as he soon posted in twitter and said- "Now people know the answer why I didn't join the show earlier. Main iss show ki baat kar raha hoon, aap purana kissa ro rahe hain. Maine ek saal tak Nahin bola kyunki aap ki badtmeezi Saamne aati, Taaki aap ki garima bani rahe. Bahut achha Kaam Kiya hai humne sath. Abhi bhi Faltu Nahin bologna. Dhayan Se Pandho. I referred to THIS show and not the preivious show. Aur turn better comedian ho. Sab jaante hain. But I will still keep trying with whatever I know. Khayal rakho. Kidney 2 our liver 1 hee hai. Take care of your health. Again I will say I have not been offered for this show. Good luck for the new show. Wishes and love."

Reacting to this post of Sunil Grover, fans started questioning whether he indirectly meant that Kapil Sharma is a drunkard. "Khayal rakho. Kidney 2 our liver 1 hee hai. Take care of your health."
What do you mean KIDNEY 2 HAI , LIVER 1 HI HAI . All people have same .No need to teach us. We better Know.
& Kapil had never spoken bad about you. Then Why are you creating rumours. Instead He ask you to Come back in TKSS very earlier. It's your fault you didn't came
— Kapil Sharma FC (@Kapil_FC9) March 18, 2018
Reportedly, Kapil Sharma reacted heavily when Sunil Grover posted a tweet in reply to a Twitterratti where he was asked to join the new show with Kapil. He said that he was not called for the show though he waited long expecting a call.
Bhai aap jaise kuch aur log bhi mujhse same poochte hain. Lekin mujhe iss show ke liye KOI call nahin aaya. Mera phone number bhi same hai.
Intezar kar Ke ab maine kuch aur sign kar liya kal. Aap logon ki duaon se ek achhe project Ke sath juda hoon. Jaldi aapke samne Aata hoon? https://t.co/t6n04SxtMK— Sunil Grover (@WhoSunilGrover) March 16, 2018
The move could result in roughly 2,000 staffers either losing their jobs or getting shifted to a new department at Sony.
"Sony's share of the smartphone market has fallen sharply in recent years - from more than three per cent in 2010, according to the research portal Statistica, to less than one per cent currently.
"It has struggled to compete against leaders Apple, Samsung Electronics and Huawei Technologies, all of which are racing to develop new 5G devices," the Nikkei Asian Review reported late on Friday.
The Tokyo-headquartered company would cut smartphone sales in Southeast Asia and other areas to focus on markets like Europe and East Asia.
"The company's smartphone sales for fiscal 2018 are projected to come in at a dismal 6.5 million units, half the previous year's figure and just one-sixth that of five years ago.
"In fiscal 2014, Sony pulled 1,000 employees from its smartphone operations but sales have plunged faster than expected, necessitating a further round of cuts," the report added.
Some of the Japanese employees hit by the decision would be transferred to other divisions in the company, but the firm would offer voluntary retirement in its Europe and China operations.
Bharti Airtel has already initiated the efforts and is likely to make a formal proposal soon, sources said while Reliance Jio Infocomm is also considering a bid.
This comes amid reports that the Japanese media major Sony Corporation's bid to acquire Zee Entertainment Enterprises has been put off due to differences of valuation. This has helped US cable company Comcast-Atairos become the frontrunner in the acquisition talks.
However, a spokesperson with Bharti Airtel said: "Airtel is not in the race to acquire Zee."
Zee Entertainment could not be reached for comment while call to a spokesperson in Reliance Industries remained unanswered.
Zee Entertainment is also said to be considering getting in private equity (PE) investors as part of their stake sale process. Apple is the other contender in the acquistion race after Comcast-Atairos, sources said.
Sony had initially proposed a merger of its existing operations with Zee Entertainment and was also open to a cash buyout.
This comes as a major blow to the Subhash Chandra-led Essel Group which is looking to sell its its stake in Zee Entertainment due to its financial stress. Essel Group's promoters have been selling shares of its group companies since its crises started earlier this year.
Zee is also present in the over-the-top video content space with Zee5, while Sony runs the SonyLiv OTT platform and both these platfroms compete with Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Zee Entertainment's promoters has been in talks with multiple investors to sell around 25 per cent stake from their shareholding of around 40 per cent, in order to pay off loans taken against their shares. As or December 2018, around 59 per cent of the promoters' stake in Zee Entertainment was pledged to lenders.
In addition, the two companies will explore the use of current Microsoft Azure data centre-based solutions for Sony's game and content-streaming services, they said in a joint statement late Thursday.
The partnership is significant at a time when Google has announced its new Stadia game streaming service and Apple has announced Arcade -- the world's first game subscription service for mobile and desktop.
Not only this, the resurgence of Nintendo with its popular Switch and the growing PC and mobile gaming market has left Microsoft and Sony gaming consoles outdated.
According to Kenichiro Yoshida, President and CEO of Sony, PlayStation itself came about through the integration of creativity and technology.
"Our mission is to seamlessly evolve this platform as one that continues to deliver the best and most immersive entertainment experiences, together with a cloud environment that ensures the best possible experience, anytime, anywhere," Yoshida said in a statement.
"I believe that our joint development of future cloud solutions will contribute greatly to the advancement of interactive content," he added.
Sony and Microsoft would also explore collaboration in the areas of semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In terms of AI, the companies will explore incorporation of Microsoft's advanced AI platform and tools in Sony consumer products, to provide highly intuitive and user-friendly AI experiences.
"Sony has always been a leader in both entertainment and technology, and the collaboration we announced today builds on this history of innovation," said Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO.
"Our partnership brings the power of Azure and Azure AI to Sony to deliver new gaming and entertainment experiences for customers," he added.
However, all these rumours are just false and baseless. 'The Kapil Sharma Show’ is currently ruling the small screen with people even giving a break to the ongoing cricket World Cup matches every Saturday and Sunday from 9 PM to 10 PM to watch Kapil.
It was nothing less than a huge delight for the millions of fans of Kapil Sharma when the iconic stand-up comedian made a comeback with full enthu with ‘The Kapil Sharma show’.
‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ had started losing TRP after Sunil Grover left the show. Later, Kapil’s health started deteriorating and it made him skip the show for a couple of episodes. After successfully running the Season 1, Sony Entertainment Television had announced a short break in August 2017.
The sudden decision of taking ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ off air left many fans dejected. However, after around one and a half years, the show was back on TV in December 2018 with a bang.
Now, according to the latest TRP/BARC ratings for Week 23 (June 1-June 7, 2019), The Kapil Sharma Show has witnessed a big jump.
We wish and hope the show reach great heights of success and the 'Laughing Therapist' continues to make people laugh forgetting all their stress and pain.
A recently-launched new promo of the show how a tailor's son fulfilled his dream of studying abroad.
The video starts with the tailor asking his son to work fast, because customers is waiting. The son states he would rather study aborad than become a tailor. This leaves his father stunned. The boy is later mocked for his impossible dream.

Everyone's attitude, however, changes when the young boy appeared on "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and gets an offer letter from California Business School.
Bachchan makes an appearance at the end of the promo, advising viewers to always be firm.
"The moral of the story is that if you have belief in yourself, firmly stick to the belief," he says.
Sunil became a household name after portrayal of characters like Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati in Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. After his recent interview in a social media platform, his fans have got a sense of belief that the comedian actor is missing the show and possibly will return to TKSS soon.
During the interview, Sunil revealed how Gutthi came to fame. “After I got work in radio, TV & films, soon ‘Gutthi’ was in limelight and in no time, became a household name! I remember I was called for a live show and when I went on stage, the audience was roaring! It took several moments like that, to bring back that young boy in me, who used to think that he could conquer the world. The young boy who used to make sure that everyone around him was smiling and entertained. The young boy who didn’t let failures dim his dreams and overpower his need for victory. So even though I have come this far... this young boy has a long way to go,” Sunil Grover was quoted as saying, reported Times of India.
Speculations were rife on several occasions that Sunil Grover would return to The Kapil Sharma Show after the release of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ as the latter is the producer of the show. Sunil Grover had played Vilayti Khan in the film which also featured Katrina Kaif and others in the lead role.
Though the speculation of Sunil Grover’s return to The Kapil Sharma Show has now become stronger among his fans after his recent interview, the official confirmation from Sunil or Kapil is yet to come.
Despite the rift between Disney and Sony, Holland on Saturday made an appearance at Disney's ultimate fan event D23 Expo here to promote his Pixar movie "Onward". He addressed the issue before leaving the stage.
"Listen, it's been a crazy week, but I want you to know, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart," said the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" star, leading to a rapturous applause.
He ended his brief remark by quoting Tony Stark's iconic line from "Avengers: Endgame" -- "And I love you 3,000", signalling that he values his bond with the Marvel superheroes.
Holland's remarks come days after negotiations fell through between Disney, which owns Marvel, and Sony Pictures.
The two studios have been sharing the brand "Spider-Man" across a plethora of films since 2015. As part of the previous agreement, Marvel had also been acting as producer of 2017 and 2019 standalone Sony "Spider-Man" movies. However, Disney and Sony broke the deal as they are "unable" to reach new terms for funding of future movies.
Holland was introduced as Spider-Man in "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016.
Iron Man's popularity was used to bring back the "Spider-Man" franchise. Holland got his first solo movie with "Spider-Man: Homecoming" -- which took the superhero back to school.
He came back as the superhero with his second solo movie "Spider-Man: Far From Home" this year.

Later on when Guneet calls Niya on her phone, Amber picks it up and this is how these two lead stars of the show will have their first conversation. Will Niya see a good partner for her father in Guneet or there will be more twists and turns before Amber and Guneet know each other better?
The Alpha 9 II will be available across all key retail counters Sony Center and major electronic stores across the country from this Thursday onwards.
The company said in a statement that the new Alpha 9 II builds on the impressive legacy of the original Alpha 9, maintaining groundbreaking speed performance including blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 20 frames per second with Auto Focus and Auto Exposure tracking, 60 times per second AF/AE calculations while incorporating even more functionality driven directly from the voice of professionals.

The advanced focusing system in the new Alpha 9 II is comprised of 693 focal-plane phase-detection AF points covering approximately 93 per cent of the image area, as well as 425 contrast AF points.

Additionally, the new model can shoot continuously and completely silently at 20 fps for up to 361 JPEG images or 239 compressed RAW images, with no viewfinder blackout, allowing the photographer to follow the subject and action with no interruption to the EVF (electronic viewfinder) during picture taking.
“The Kapil Sharma Show” was a big hit when it started a couple of years ago mostly because of Sunil Grover, Upasana Singh, Ali Asagar and Kapil himself. The supporting cast of Sumona and Chandu also helped to take it to the top. But after the fallout of Sunil and Kapil things were disturbed and the show could not get the same response and was shunned for a long time.
It made a comeback to the silver screen through Sony television and backed by Salman Khan Productions. Incidentally, both Kapil and Sunil now do not share a good rapport and cannot see eye-to-eye. Salman being what he is roped in Sunil for “Bharat” and also gave Kapil’s show a new lease by backing it financially.
Kapil Sharma Show Losing TRP Battle
The show helmed by Kapil Sharma seems to be losing the TRP battle and barely managed to hold last week as it was thrown out of the top 10. For reality shows like “Kaun Banega Crorepati” or “Bigg Boss” or any other show, being in the top 10 is the parameter for continuing it on television. “Bigg Boss” is back in the top 10 and also “Dance Plus 5” helmed by eminent choreographer and director Remo D’Souza.
With new shows heading towards the top, “The Kapil Sharma Show” has not been able to stand the popularity chart. On the other hand, Sunil Grover is to make a comeback on television as Gutthi in “Bigg Boss 13” helmed by none other than Salman Khan. If this works out well and helps the TRP of the show, Gutthi may become a constant feature of the show for some time.
It can put “The Kapil Sharma Show” in more trouble.

The PlayStation Plus subscriber reached 45.9 million (as of September 30) while PlayStation Network had 107 million monthly active users.
Sony's big PS4 release for the quarter was the open-world samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima, which came out in July and sold 2.4 million copies in its first three days.
Nearly 1.5 million PS4 units were purchased by retailers worldwide.
Sony has now revised its full-year gaming forecast, expecting to make 2.6 trillion yen in revenue and 300 billion yen in profit by the end of March 31 -- a 26 per cent increase in both revenue and profit.
Sony PlatStation5, to arrive next month globally, will cost Rs 49,990 in India and the PS5 Digital Edition will be available for Rs 39,990.
The company said that while the gamers in India are excited to get their hands on PS5, availability is subject to local import regulations.
"Our local teams are working through the logistics. We will share an update on the launch date for India as more information becomes available," the company said in a statement earlier this month.
The PlayStation 5 is set to hit the shelves on November 12 in the US and the rest of the world on November 19.
Sony last month apologised for PS5 pre-orders being a bit of a mess which caused many gamers to miss out on securing a console.
"However, necessary measures are being taken and preparations are underway with the aim of ensuring that many strong titles can be released from Sony's first-party studios and its partners' studios in connection with the launch of PlayStation 5," it said.

According to Sony, the 'Alpha 7C' is the world's first smallest and lightest full-frame body with uncompromising performance featuring advanced AF (autofocus), high-resolution 4K video capabilities and much more.
"The new 'Alpha 7C' camera and FE 28-60mm F4-5.6 zoom lens packs most advanced imaging technologies in a brand new design which is the smallest and lightest full-frame camera and lens system in the world. We are opening up a new world of possibilities for content creators by giving them uncompromised power of a full-frame system in the palm of their hands," said Mukesh Srivastava, Digital, Imaging Head, Sony India, in a statement.
Measuring only 124mm x 71.1mm x 59.7mm and weighing just 509 grams, the 'Alpha 7C' has a similar size and weight to an APS-C camera, with only one per cent more weight than the Alpha 6600.
The 'Alpha 7C' features a five-step seven stabilisation effect that allows shooting snaps without a tripod. Moreover, despite a compact body, the high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery provides enough power to shoot for long durations.
The camera supports HDR and S-Log/S-Gamut profiles, high-speed full HD recording at 120 fps and other advanced video features to offer better video capabilities capturing a high-quality video footage.
It features a side-opening LCD monitor making it easy to record selfies, overhead shots, low ground-level shots or whatever the user requires. The movie button has been placed at the top of the camera making it easier to operate while recording in selfie mode.
