Four were killed while three others were critically injured after the ambulance hit a truck on the Chittoor-Tirupathi highway, reports said.

The video shows a group of young men chatting alongside a main road. They are casually chatting with each other while vehicles pass by on the main road.

One of the elderly women is also seen folding her hands and requesting the woman to let them go.

All the 11 injured have been admitted to MKCG Hospital where their condition was stated to be stable following treatment. 

A Border Security Force jawan riding a motorcycle died after a tragic crash of his vehicle with a moving bus at Baradabili in Dharakote area of Ganjam district on Wednesday.

Some 40 labourers were going from Baramile area in Mayurbhanj district to Kamarda in Balasore district to work as farm labourers. 

Of the 25 injured, condition of six is stated to be critical, sources said.

The Odia superstar not only admitted the victim to a private hospital, but also stayed with him until the arrival of his family members and ensured that he was provided with proper treatment.

On their way back home, the vehicle rammed into a tree alongside the main road after the driver lost control over the wheels.

The tragic road mishap reportedly took place near Digapahandi in Ganjam district. All the injured were admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

Local residents alleged that accidents, minor and major ones, are occurring on the road on a regular basis due to the illegally parked trucks that encroach upon the road. 

Pant miraculously survived a tragic accident on Dec 30, 2022, after his car collided with a divider and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway while on the way to his, hometown Roorkee to surprise his mother.

During the year 2022, 5467 persons were killed in road accidents at a growth of 7.6% compared to 2021.

“In connection with yesterday’s incident, the superintending engineer of the R&B department and Sub-Collector (Sadar) have been asked to submit a report,” informed the Cuttack Collector.
