Rath Yatra In Puri - Adhara Pana Rituals Today
A day after embarking on a nine-day sojourn, Lord Balabhadra, Jagannath and Devi Subhadra along with Lord Sudarshan will be escorted to the Adapa Mandapa in the Gundicha Temple in Puri today.
After bringing the Agyan Mala from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, the senior servitors went in a procession to the three chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra and performed the rituals there.
The deities were under treatment for fever at Anasara Ghara after Snana Purnima (bathing) ritual on June 24. They have reappeared in their rejuvenated youthful form after recovering from fever on Nabajouban Darshan.
