S.S. Rajamouli's 'RRR' has got a thumping response for the theatrical trailer which was released earlier on Thursday. The makers had arranged for a screening of the trailer in the Telugu states.
The movie includes a star-studded line up besides lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles while Samuthirakani, and British actors Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody join in supporting roles.
The lyrical song opens with visuals of Ram Charan's character, the late 19th-century tribal freedom fighter and martyr, Alluri Sitarama Raju, appearing in the uniform of a sepoy, his eyes conveying the pain he internalises.
While 'RRR' is slated for its grand release in theatres worldwide on January 7, 2022, the team seems to have kickstarted the promotions. A couple of songs released by the team has amplified the pre-existing buzz for the movie.
The producers of 'RRR' are apparently not ready to reduce the selling price to the buyer because even a cut down of 20 per cent would result in a huge loss of Rs 20 crore.
