Candidates are required to register online for the main examination at www.upsc.gov.in till August 16, 2019. They have to upload the scanned copies of the requisite document along with the DAF on time.
The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 is being conducted for engagement of fresh candidates to the position of IAS, IFS, IPS and other government officer level posts. The Commission had declared the UPSC Preliminary exam results on July 12.
As per the time table released by the commission, the UPSC Civil Services Main Examinations 2019 will be conducted on September 20, 2019. The examination will be held at following centres: Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada.
"While every effort will be made to allot the candidate to the Centre of his choice, the Commission may, at their discretion allot a different Centre or a new Centre that may be opened when circumstances so warrant," the commission said in the notification.
While appearing for the Main examination, candidates must carry their photo ID proof submitted by them along with the UPSC CSE Main admit card.
As per the notification, the detailed time table of examination will announced along with the UPSC CSE Main admit card.

Visit the Official website www.upsc.gov.in
Click on What's New section and then the link for Civil Services Main exam DAF
After a new page opens, click on the link to apply for the Main exam
Enter the log-in details and complete the application process.
The recruitment will be done to fill a total of 415 posts while applications can be submitted for the same by September 3, 2019.
Educational Qualifications
10th/12th Class equivalent from recognized board/University/Institution.
Age Limit
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 January 2001 and not later than 1 January 2004 are eligible.
Application Fee
General/OBC Candidate: Rs 100
No fee for SC/ST candidates
Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in written and interview.
How To Apply
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in the Appendix-II (A) Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website.
The Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of Application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the examination. In this regard, Instructions are mentioned in Appendix-II (B) of this Examination Notice.
Candidate should also have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form.
The same photo ID card will also have to be uploaded with the Online Application Form. This photo ID will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this ID while appearing for examination/SSB.
