The CBI had taken Dr Panigrahi on remand for a period of five days for interrogation. With the remand period ending on Monday, he was produced before the CBI court.
An audio clip in which Panigrahi is heard demanding for bribe from a shipping agent for issuing a clearance certificate has reportedly gone viral over various social media platforms.
