The State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to intensify its campaign and attack on the ruling BJD on the OBC reservation issue.
The Odisha government’s new reservation list for different posts of PRIs like Sarpanch, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad members and chairmen of Blocks and Zilla Parishads will boomerang on the BJD, Opposition parties claimed on Wednesday.
The scuffle reportedly broke out after a section of the BJD workers alleged massive irregularities in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Public Distribution System (PDS) in the region.

The highest number of warrants were executed with 592 arrests in Balasore district, followed by Ganjam district with 551 and Khordha with 516 arrests.
