Out of 30 districts, 5 of them have recorded excess rainfall while the remaining 25 districts in Odisha have received normal rainfall this season.

The cyclonic circulation over Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has turned into a Low Pressure, the India Meteorological Department said on Monday.

It’s hardly been 10 days since ‘Cyclone Gulab’ caused devastation in parts of Odisha, and formation of a fresh low pressure has triggered speculations regarding another cyclone in the state.
