Odisha PCCF, Sashi Paul said on Tuesday that the STF, which exhumed the skeletal remains of a dead elephant in Balikiari reserve forest on last Tuesday, submitted the report to the DFO, prompting action against the Forest officials who are under a cloud.

The Odisha Wildlife Special Task Force (STF) exhumed the skeletal remains of an elephant in the Balikiari reserve forest under Narasinghpur (West) Forest Range in Cuttack on Tuesday.

PCCF (wildlife) Shashi Paul said the repair works of the toy train is being undertaken by RITES Limited and the service is expected to resume within the next seven to 10 days.
